ok so i harvested about 2 weeks ago and hung up my plant for a week after i manicured it up so that i wouldn't have to cut much after it was dried and my bud has been curing for about 5 days now and it has a harsh taste to it when smoked, i haven't smoked it since i started curing but im still worried about a bad taste to it. for 2 weeks before harvest i feed only water and i didnt water for the last 5 days of its life is there something i did wrong or is this bud just destined to taste like shit? oh it is bagseed and it was grown under about 170watts of 2700k cfl's, like i said i haven't smoked it since i started to cure so im being patient and hoping for the best, but im still worried about my baby. and here are some pics since i know everyone loves pics haha peace MVG:peace:

the most important thing to me when harvesting is to let the bud hang upside down across a string of something to get the chlorophyll out that is part of why it has the harsh taste

ok well it has improved 1000% in taste since i first smoked it about 2 weeks ago so i think that i may have just been impatient but we shall see how it go, think i need to let it dry a bit doesnt burn well but tastes fine now wow im happy about that

Yur suppose to hang it in the dark with a fan blowing around it but not on it. After 2 or so weeks, try to break the stem. If it bends its not ready, if it break s then you put in a jar for a another couple of weeks. Open the jar a couple times a day to let moisture escape, this is what really gives you flavor. Peace!!
