yes you can do it with wet trim but it clogs up your screen really quickly and will not get nearly as much as using dry
personally i do dry ice hash with dry trim
the idea is to freeze the weed with the dry ice so wet can be used but in smaller amounts to the amount of dry ice used
if i have to use wet weed i will put it in a bucket with allot of dry ice for 15 so mins before taking small amounts in a net with dry ice and shake
if the net or screen is getting wet you must stop until it drys off
don't use a cheap plastic screen or net as dry ice will make it shatter and mix in to your shaking
if you don't want to wait several days for the shake or hash to dry i wouldn't do the buckets or water and ice
id go trim glass table silk netting dry ice

I have no idea as to you yield. Will totaly depend on quality of trim. Also cant tell you hoq mutch at a time. My trim goes into brown paper bags as its trimed. I have never weighed it before. Guessing abought a third of a gal of dry ice and 2 fluffy gallons of trim. The dry ice and shaking turn the trim into powder. When im done it looks like the bucket isb1/4 full
Thanks!

How much material should I use at once with fresh frozen trim and dry ice also whats the yield ratio?
In terms of yield ratio, sift for about 15-20 seconds for 1st sieve. Push it into a pile with a credit card. That will be highest quality. Golden in color with very little green.

Do that again. 15-20 seconds, gather that.. that's 2nd second rate quality.

Do it one more time. 3rd rate quality.

You can do it once more but it's likely the next sieve will be green and very low in resin.

This is how you can keep extracting without ruining the quality of the best stuff, thus figuring out what your yield ratio is.

I personally find that fresh trim works better for dry ice hash because dried out leaves tend to crumble into powder and get through the sieve. That being said, while dry ice sieve is my prefered extraction method for trim, I usually dry the trim so I don't have to have my freezer full of trim while I save up.
