I say he's a martyr. Maybe he knew his plants weren't doing well and realized he failed them all!

It was a sense of duty, this man is a champion and shall rightfully be remembered so!!

im calling this bullshit, hyperthermia or excessive heat?! now im no doctor but i thought hypothermia was when you were in excessive cold. and who the fuck grows with halogen lamps? no one. tinfoil lined tents? every tent for growing ive seen is mylar or white film lined unless this guy was using a camping tent to grow in or some shit.

something is not right here...

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to die just from 38C, I bet he had something weird with his body or it maybe lack of oxygen during night or co2 poisoning

probably the news are just linking his death to the cannabis grow to make the story interesting

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/os-altamonte-marijuana-grow-house-20100518,0,3882580.story

Acting on a tip, Altamonte Springs police served a search warrant today at a storage facility where four units had been converted into a marijuana grow house.

Madison Eugene Priest, 54, of St. Cloud, was at the facility when officers arrived and faces charges of possession and cultivation of marijuana, said Altamonte Springs police Officer Timothy Hyer. At the time of his arrest, Priest was on federal probation for the same charges, Hyer said.

Late last year, Priest rented four units at Business and Storage, Hyer said.

He totally remodeled the inside of the units, connecting them and building walls and ceilings, Hyer said.

"He did a great job of building the inside of the place," Hyer said.

But Priest's growing skills were lacking, he said.

Agents found hundreds of energy-efficient fluorescent light bulbs, apparently the wrong kind for growing plants, Hyer said. It also appeared the plants were not getting adequate water or nutes, he said. There was no plumbing inside the storage units, so Priest was using condensation from air conditioning units to water the plants. He was also bringing in water from nearby Lake Mary Jane on weekends.

Officers confiscated 138 plants, the largest no taller than 18 to 24 inches, Hyer said. Considering the length of time the plants had been growing, "He should have had huge plants," Hyer said.

As for the "Druggie" comment, written by a journo that starts his day with a tripple espresso, drinks red bull through the day then vodka all night prob few lines and a couple a downers before bed, everyones a druggie, drugs are a part of life, and so is the hipocracy of the media, if that made no sense, a dont care, am :bigjoint:'n

Those poor plants...I weep for them in the moonlight of tragedy with only despair running through my veins and darkness in my soul. Tis a great sad day for both plant and beast when, in yonder haze, a sorrowful wrong has been brought against such innocents...
