What up man? I'm using 2.4 gal air pots. Yeah the lights are a bit high right now but I lower em a foot or so every day to lessen the shock of going from T5's to a 600. I plan on topping em here fairly soon and I always super crop when needed. I never really got into the lst training per say but I'm always up for some experimentation.

I plan on keeping this grow as simple as possible and to get a good feel for the new room before I start getting into any training but I do plan on doing some in the near future.

Peace and I'll check ya later.

Mine are the 9L/2.4G ones. That's what it says where I get mine anyway. I got a bunch of 3L/.8G ones I used for a mini sog for my last grow. Plants got about a foot and half tall and yielded about an ounce off each one. It was too much work watering all those plants in a small 3x3 space. I could grow out 3 big ones and yield more with less work.

The next time I start any plants out though they'll go into the .8G first. The reason I didn't do it this time is because they were buried in the storage shed and I didn't feel like digging them out. Just your typical ordinary stoner lol.

nice room! in for the ride. will you be transplanting them into anything bigger than the 2.4g down the road?
Thanks man and welcome to my grow, glad to have ya.

Nope that will be their final resting place. Personally I don't feel you need much bigger than the 2.4G air pots unless you wanna grow trees but that's just my opinion. I've been using these pots for quite awhile now and they will produce some monster plants.

Thanks for riding along.

Hey bill I had to look up geopot, never heard the term before. I guess it's just another name for a smart pot. I have heard good things about them but I've also heard the air pot will out perform. That's just hearsay though and I have no facts to back that statement up.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. I'm off to play some more Rage.

Peace.

Ahhh even better. I wish I had the $$$ for a nice gaming rig.

The graphics capabilities of my laptop are limited to games like Age of Empires : Online, lol. Thats the extent of my PC gameplay. Oh and old nes and snes games :)

Yeah it can get expensive keeping up with technology but in my opinion their is no other way to game. I only have to update my rig once every 2 or 3 years so it's worth it to me.

Yep same here but I only use it for racing games and stuff like that. For shooters I'm all about the keyboard and mouse.

yes, as I watched the vid you posted, I figured that you can decrease the pot size as the possibility of root bounding occurring is slim to none. is that generally a correct way of viewing it? Im pretty much jumping on that superoot airpot bandwagon immediately. :weed:

and I dont mean bandwagon in a bad way. the product looks super legit and the science is there. im honesty surprised at the small amount of superoot pots i see on here.

Alot of folks like to stick to what is tried and true. Others like to work outside the box ;) Just depends on the grower, ya know.

Thanks for those kind words Amber, they are appreciated. I have grown in coco one time. I had bought one brick of coco coir and used it in a dwc a cpl of years ago. At the time I didn't really like it because there were a lot of fine pieces that constantly fell through the net pot into my reservoir and it was pretty messy stuff. Although when I run out of this soil I've been using I'm thinking about trying it again, just not in a dwc.;-)

Yes that's the way I see it. When the root is pruned, the pruned root starts to grow new shoots that fills the pot instead of circling the pot. Therefore increasing the amount of nutrient uptake through out the whole root system. Make sense?

You nailed it bill. I'm all about working outside the box and trying new things.

Hey Dropa. You, me, and hotsause should get some battlefield action going on in a few weeks. He's had the beta for a month or something. What's the deal with torrents bro. I mean I know what they are, but I'm totally new to pc gaming and usually wait for stuff to go on sale on steam. Where do you get them, and do you have to do anything special to install them? Will BF3 be on a torrent as soon as it comes out?

Room looks so amazing by the way. Like pukka I wish I had more space... you make it look so good. Sometimes I feel like a prisoner in my little closet. oh well, one day. Do you think the .8gal smart pot maxed out at 1 oz per plant? I'm going to try to set up a buddy with a tiny little grow space and was thinking about pots around 1 gam... and I like those smart pots. Oh, and last question... what are the things sticking into the sides of the pots. There are like 1 or 2 on each one, and I've always seen them on peeps' grows, just never asked. So please tell... wtf are those things? lol

What you think bout USC tomorrow?
