Drones...

It's really not difficult, just refrain from practicing inside at first. Find a nice grassy field ( local school ) and get acclimated.
Yeah, I thought I would fire up my little quadcopter inside at first for a little liftoff and hover. Needless to say, the first outdoor flight was delayed by a few weeks...

A drone just flew over my backyard creeping real slow, and like an idiot I looked up at it to see what the humming was coming from. As I stare up at the sky with a potted plant in my hand I see 2 pairs of LEDs dart into the westward sky. So........HOW FUCKED AM I???

Ive seen about 40 or 50 this week just flying through the city. Fucking getting crazy out there. I think they are all wired to central intelligence. If i were you i wouldn't be too worried, probably get out in 2.5 on good behavior.

I'm thinking about calling the local PD to see if it is one of theirs. I figure I can claim concern that a peeping tom might be in the neighborhood.

If you put a tin foil hat on to greet the squad car then yea you'd be safe. But if not don't call them. Rining the police unless you really need them gives some people the ebee jebbees.

They have a 24hr line for non emergencies. I figure I can be like, hey... something odd just happened. that way if it is a peeping tom, there will be a record. I just want to know if it's safe to water my Tomatoes after dusk in my underpants.

Also, would the law be on my side if I shot it down over my backyard? :D

Also, I called the PD and they said it's not theirs. They've had other calls about drones in the area, so I'm not the only concerned citizen. They gave me the phone number to the FAA, so I figure I'll give them a call and see if I'd be held responsible for any drones that are mysteriously downed over my property...

The heli's don't concern me but any grower should be worried about drones. They could fly one of them right up to your window and look in you're house and you might never know it's there, or plant a watching or listening device for future reference..I keep reading more and more local LE are buying them up. Some towns want to implement them as first responders so they know what's going on at a location before an actual officer show up. I used to have plans for a homemade EMP device..i should see if i can find em.
