Thanx to the Huff Post for the headline and link to this article:

So if I smoke a joint in Utah and drive through Colorado a day later and say get stopped for a tail-light being out, does Sarge now have the right strap me to a table and suck my blood cause he don't like my zip-code and "suspects" I could be high? Since I'm a chronic smoker he'd probably be found to be right under this law regardless whether I was high at that moment or not. And one of my favorite parts of the article is, of course, about our beloved Federates;
"The White House has urged all states to set a blood-level drugged driving standard, though the federal government hasn't specified what the amount should be."
which I read as;
"Don't worry about the truth or the reality of the situation, once you states fuck up/destroy a few thousand lives/families, we'll figure out some random number for you."

And anyone know what the legal drugged-driving level for Angel Dust in D.C. is? Gonna have to know that next time I'm driving all zooted out in das Kapital!!

this law is retarded.. i can smoke all day and drive perfectly fine.. i can drink about 3 beers and not drive very well at all.. i see no comparison between driving stoned and driving drunk, none at all.. it's absurd to think they are even similar.. it really pisses me off..

and like the op said, mj stays in the system much longer then booze, there is no tests out right now that differentiate between my smoking a joint 20 days ago and my smoking one 4 minutes before i get behind the wheel.. not that i think stoned driving is bad anyways, just that it's a bs law...

And by the way, if your eyes aren't completely open you will be pulled over and tested "because you might be high". (The Federal Gov has yet to define "completely open") ........They also haven't determined what to do about the Asians.

No offense to my Asian brothers and sisters btw.

Bunch of shit is what it is.
