Drilling holes in stalk before harvest-bs right?

Does it maybe help in the process of senescence? i would never do it but i see outdoor growers who have a hard time flushing their plants in the ground do this.

If you drill a hole towards the base of your stock at the end of flower, it stresses it out and puts your plants into overdrive on trichome production. It's a last stitch effort at survival.

When you drill the holes, shove skewers or a bunch of toothpicks in the holes. When you do this, it slowly stops water uptake to the leaves and buds. It's a pre-dry/curing hack.

Do this during a flush with RO water the last 14 days but after 48 hours of darkness to start the flush off the right way.

I know that's right! First grow decided to go with autos because of the whole seed to harvest in 10-12 weeks, nope end of week nine approaching 3rd week of flower and have at least another 6 weeks to go just guessing from threads I've read through.

You don’t drill holes, split the stalk with a sharp knife and insert a stick. Been there, meh, didn’t hurt it.
