Seems this is the only website that will allow a DGT grow journal so here we go.

Just got them cracked over the weekend. Over the next few months I will be growing these into monsters. They claim to be very heavy yielders. I pull 2.5+ pound plants out of my system already. Its a rdwc with a UC style 1800 gph pump, with an aditional 700 gph top feed. Each side holds 8 plants and is 7kw vert lighting with 2 horizontal 600s over the center plants. Tote side is 18 gallon and the brute side is 20 gallon. Minisplits, sealed room, co2 exc...

These are not the g13s but just an example of what i working with

Considering all the controversy over these seeds, I dont really have an opinion or really care who where or what the strain came from. It could be called g13 or green shit in a box. I got the seeds to try to produce a four pound plant. If the final product is good quality and I increase my yields then I can justify spending the $100 a pop for the seeds. I dont see these seeds worth while if you are growing SOG or something with a higher plant count. If i can get a %5 increase then it will be well worth it for me. If the strain is stable and doesnt have differences between phenos then there really isnt a need to pop 10 or more seeds a time to find a keeper. I guess we will see in a few months if these seeds are up to par. I will be putting them side by side against my NL cut which is my best strain for yield and quality. My best plant was 2.75lbs and Im pretty sure I will beat that record with my current run that is on week 3.

Feel free to post coments or questions

peace

Hey Ghetto,
Take a look at http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org this is a very friendly Dr. Greenthumb site. Also look for a fella named Dr.Gruber ( no Greenthumb relation but a real straight shooter and a cool dude) he has an unbiased opinion on Greenthumb gear and has grown many strains. Your grow looks VERY NICE BTW.

Hey I was wondering if DR. Gruber could snap a close up shot of one of his fan leaves to compare to DD's G13 shot. Here is what his looks like.

Grubers G13 fan leaves

I dont know if fan leaves mean anything but they look pretty close

subbed mad that is a very impressive i am looking at the dr's strains i just wish i had a friend i could get a cut from first to see what i would be up against before shedding all that paper out for just 2 beans,
but yes man will be watching this thread like a hawk on a side note your pots with the big round net pots in do you not have any probs with algae or any foriegn objects getting into your system an contaminating your root system my number 1 thing the slime, its just i see so many threads saying never use white containers make sure there light tight an here you are growing nice healthy plants,
do you use some sort of preventative measures to insure your not populated by certain little bacteria like DM ZONE, GUARDIAN ANGEL or do you run bennies in your system??
anyways plus rep man love your setup

I got this cool gadget. It snaps a picture every hour while lights are on to make a time lapse video of the plants growing in the veg room.

I dont have any issues in the veg room res temps are in 65. I am using Zone this run, last time i used roots excel, i did get a little green alge on the inside of the white buckets where light goes right in the corners. But didnt cause any harm, still got healthy pearly white roots..

Holy shit that is the coolest grow gadget I've seen to date. I assume the video goes on a memory card ?
Your plants look great, the leaves are a little broader than Dr Grubers grow in Pro Mix with organic nutes.

Very nice set up!! i am sub'ed love to see how these come out. I was checking out the fan leaves and the only real difference i could see was the green on DD's was a little darker, but that could be do to anything really. can't wait to see the yield!

I also got a couple G-13 alongside two Endless Sky. Looks like we started around the same time. Mine broke ground on April 18th and are in top feed recirculating bubble buckets now.

The ESs are 7" with 9-10 nodes and the G-13 are only 4.5-5" with 8-9 nodes. The side branches are developing real sloooow on G-13 comparing to Endless Sky which just shot up right to the top. But the G-13s look very much like yours - short, stacked and flat.

How tall are they now and how many days from breaking ground?
