Double Infusion ? Did I Discover a new technique ? ;)

    So the last few cannabutter batches I have used 10 cups of butter and 10 cups of water, and put in half pound of trim, and cook at 100C for 3 hours, I then strain out all the material, and squeeze out butter and water of it, then toss away material (into the worm bin). I then take another half pound of trim and put into this same liquid solution and cook for another 3 hours at 100C. I can't fit in the full pound of material into the amount of water and butter so this allows me to infuse 1 pound of trim into those 10 cups of butter instead of just half

    Anyone see any issues with this process? Am I losing any potency? Is there a max amount THC that can be in the butter? For example, if I quadruple infused it would it be 4X stronger then single?
