DopeWears Outdoor Late Start...

So this will be my first ever outdoor grow journal... ill be planting in a clearing about 1km from my house... ill be plant 6+ plants depending on how germination goes... there will be 2 purple pine berry and 4 asshole. i did start about 10 seeds about a month ago which were going well and soon to go outside still some one took a heated arguement to far and gave my plants a nice bleech feeding... so here i am starting as soon as possible. once cracked ill veg them for like 2-3 weeks on a window sill or build a little veg box to mimic outside and then put them out. trust me in not thrilled about how late they are going out but what can i do... anyways ill put pics soon of the site and everything...

i'm sure you've done your reading dub, be careful transplanting indoor to outdoor. its not straight into the plot they go, they need an adjusting period in pots. full shade for a bit, part shade for a bit, full sun for a bit, finally in the ground. of course i have NO experience in this whatsoever but i could recommend a good outdoor grow video for you... Day 2 / May 11 / 2009 - Germination

Method: Using 2 plantes with seeds in a damp paper towel kept in a warm place.

I will post pick of my plot when i start preping it and when it stops raining.

This hybrid of the purple pineberry that we have made with our male is agreat hardy plant that still retains its piney scent and fast flowering time. Flowering Time: 6 weeks Indoors

Indoor/Outdoor 10th generation Indica. The name is entertaining and so is the weed. Very large buds fill each branch and may require support late into flower. Stoney high that seems to last forever! Height: 2-3 Ft indoors/ 3-4Ft Outdoors
Flowering Time: 8 weeks indoors/ Mid to Late Sept outdoors

i dig the strains, especially the purple pineberry. my brother talks big game about the moist towel method. i personally happened to have a germination tray with with the pods and lid and the whole she-bang-a-bang, i used it for my vegetable garden, and then curiosity led to my current grow.

haha don't got much to say other than i'm excited to see them sprout and get some leaves. online ordered? feminized?

bought from the vancity seedbank, and no not feminized. its my first grow im not to worried about male and female i just want to give it a try and see what happens.

Hey DW. Things sound pretty good on this side of the border. Glad to see you're broadening your horizons in the grow business. I'll be watching this one, and learning im sure. Good luck, and nice choice on the strains. Those buds look amazing. Aren't you growing some of the asshole now?

yah im growing the asshole strain right now in my pc case but i figure why not do some outside and see them grow full board!

Day 3 / May 12 / 2009 - Germination

Alittle update you guys, 7 of the purple pineberry have cracked and are worken on roots and 3 of the asshole are cracked and working on there roots. i will be building a temporary ghetto veg box for these kids today, i will be covering that in a post along with pics of the build later today.

Day 3 / May 12 / 2009 - Germination

So here it is my new veg box i know it aint much but its a start for what i need it for ill probly tear it apart once its served its perpos. 4 of the asshole seeds now have tap roots and all 10 purple pineberry have taps, they have been put into those jiffy peat pellets, thought id give them a try... will transplant into other pots when roots show through... Here are some pics...

Pic 1: it begins with a box.

Pic 2: lined the bottom and 2 inches up the sides with a plastic bag to prevent water leaks.

Pic 3: put mylar around the sides was a hassle but worth it!

Pic 4: cut myself some doors to get in from the side.

Pic 5: installed two 120mm 12v fans both running on one 12v adapter.

Pic 6: lighting of course... there are six 23 watt 6500k bulbs.

Pic 7: duct tape the top shut with mylar on the roof of course and used zap straps to secure the the lighting to the top of the box.

Pic 8: the box in its glory

Pic 9: Jiffy pellets... add water they grow then you put your seed in.

Pic 10: Jiffy pellets expanded with the seeds in and labelled there are possible 13 plants to be grown... minus the males...

that is a ghetto fabulous contraption you have there... am i your only loyal fan?!
i like your style man... i might do the same for a pc micro grow, start in the veg box in a closet and flower in a pc maybe vise-versa?
this is not outdoor talk, so i guess i'll cut it out...

Baddass box, mah nizz. I'm glad you posted that purple pineberry pic. I would love it if you'd look at the leaf in that pic and then look at Beatrice's leaf. I'm 100% convinced it's plain Indica cold purple, now. And yes, things DO seem to be kicking ass in my cases. Thanks. I wish I had more time to take pics of them, but I also like the weeklys so I know where I stand. This hobby rocks. And to think.. I've always wanted to do bonsai!

A bonsai... Glad to see you didnt go that way because this is truely a kick ass hobbie. Ill have to take a close look at Beatrice for sure man do i love the sounds of purple weed lol.

Hey bud thanks for the comment id say yes very Macgyver, i didnt buy 1 thing it was all sitting around in my house, ill let you know how the jiffy pellets go... they come about 1/2 inch compresssed and dry you add water and they grow to about 2" tall.

Day 4 / May 13 / 2009 - Germination-Sprouts(soon, very soon)


Pic 1-2: Heres two pics of the kids in the box, the jiffy humidity dome works pretty tight, i came home from work today and 2 seeds/sprouts are about to break the surface 1 being Purple Pineberry and 1 Asshole. Those dixie cup flowers were some random bag seed only 1 is doing well lol oh well dont give a fuck about them. my main 13 are priority. Temps are between 75-80 constantly and humidity is between 45-55.
