here's the link to the thread: https://www.rollitup.org/seedbank-reviews/420114-beware-nirvana-seeds.html

Now, I can tell you.. from 4 years of experience from ordering seeds.. that Nirvana seed-bank is completely legit. They're not crooks like the person in that thread claims them to be.

I've ordered numerous beans from Nirvana.. and I've only had one small screw-up from them and really, it technically was not even their fault.. it was the U.S.P.S. fault.

So again, just because you might get a bad batch of seeds from a breeder/seedbank.. doesn't give you the right to plaster their business reputation with lies and bullshit. It happens!!!

If you happen to get a bad batch of beans from the breeder you order from.. (In my case.. Nirvana & TGA) simply go to the breeders site.. and let them know what happened. 9 times outta 10.. the breeder will make things right with you. Nirvana made things right with me.. when the USPS messed my order up.. and that's what I call loyal and rigid service. I mean, it wasn't even their fault that it happened.. yet they were nice enough to fix the problem and send me a new batch of beans for free.

So again, if you happen to get a bad batch of beans from you breeder.. don't come on here creating threads talking smack about them.. they made an honest mistake.. and it happens from time to time.

That's all I wanted to say..

peace.

I agree with this post 100% I believe that the poster, Free Sativa, only joined to make slanderous posts. He has been told to go open a ticket to report his issue.

To anyone that has a problem with anything regarding Nirvana Seeds.... They are an excellent company with many happy customers... We have hundreds of grow journal posts of Nirvana grows. I have written two of them. The results were spectacular. Nice dense bubblelicious buds with tons of trichomes. If you have any issues, open a help ticket and explain the problem in detail. If it is something they have control over, they make it right. They have even replaced a missing shipment to me, free of any additional charges or guarantee shipping; like some other seed banks use. I don't doubt that from time to time shit happens, when it does, utilize the weed portal and open a ticket.....

I want to point out that the naysayers have less than 10 posts.... You be the judge....

I have also had a few problems with nirvana. i just gave up and went elsewhere.

i agree, if your not an ass they will fix your problem
Not true.
I received 10 master kush and 10 white widow seeds, all 10 ww seeds germinated and only 2 (!!) of the mk germinated!
I sent nirvana an email stating my problem and they essentially told me to screw.

Stay away from nirvana! They're crooks!

i'm not sure how i feel about this whole thing honestly.. i will openly admit that i've never tried nirvana, but that is not to say that people don't have bad seeds some times.. after all, i'm sure we have all heard the stories about the issues that nirvana had with their auto flowering strains not auto'ing..
but i don't think the op of the original thread went about things the correct way.. i recently purchased some beans from what i hear has killer genetics, and i tried germing 5 out of a pack of ten beans.. not one of them germed, not a single bean.. i contacted the owner of the site, whom also happens to be a member here at riu, and told him of my issues with the one strain i tried germing of his gear, and he told me that he had reports from some other growers that they also had some issues on the same strain, and that he was going to make it up to me and took my safe addy and said new gear was on the way..
this has been atleast about a month or so ago, and i've since talked to atleast one other member on this site who has had the same exact issues with the same strain that i did..he also contacted the same person that i did and was told the same thing i was, new bean on the way..

i have yet to receive anything from said breeder, but i've also held back from talking smack on them either, and will give it another say two weeks and try and contact him again and see what the bottom line is.. but my point is, that shit happens with beans sometimes.. did the op of the original thread go about it in the correct way?? maybe not, but i don't see all the slamming him for speaking about his experiences with a company either.. just my $ .02...

i never purchased from the company, so i cant say bad things about them. but usually as a business they would want to keep a customer... they cant live off hopes and dreams! haha

Their Blue Mystic is finicky but their Ice isn't as janky.

I think each breeder has some funky seed stock. I mean, some of them have dozens of strains and eventually, in a volume of that size, a few "bad apples" are going to pop up.

Personally, I'm not going to be ordering much from them in the future as you get what you pay for but they are exactly what I'd expected. I started dozens of strains recently and basically found three keepers. One is a Mutant Lemon Phenotype Paradise Seeds Sensi Star, another is a Skunky flavored DNA Genetics Cole Train, and the last is a berry flavored Magus Genetics Motavation.

I had to do all kinds of plants from all kinds of breeders to narrow it down to just a few keepers. Greenhouse Lemon Skunk was tastey as hell but the high wasn't quite dialed to what I was looking for (it had this hazy "sweaty palms" nervousness to it).

I don't buy that any one club is just dominating the market with genetics right now. Maybe TGA Subcool with their Plush Berry (I can only wonder how many thousands of seeds they moved on Attitude from January to March) but the field is pretty unsolidified at the moment as all these California "start ups" are starting to compete with the old school seed schleppers. You'll have to just take the plunge and hope for the best if you decide to grow something you haven't researched and seen good results on online first. I figure the Plush Berry should be around for a little while (or maybe an even stickier Plush Berry 2.0) so I want to see if the end result is worth the investment.

I think most people should do the same regardless of breeder or reputation.

I have hung around at sites like this since they started popping up on the net, normally being a member of two or three, and sometimes more, at a time and over the years I have never seen a big name breeder/seedbank have anywhere near as many complaints as Nirvana has had.

Frankly, I am unable to understand how they have managed to remain in business.

The only explanation that even makes half sense is in spite of lacking quality the place has been marketed so well that newbies flock to it. It is sort of like the AOL of breeders/seedbanks. Many who are new to growing and do not know any better pick it because of it's famous name just as many new to the net pick AOL, and in both cases only later realize there are far better options .. and the second part is Wal-Mart pricing. If someone looks at the pricing of Mr. Nice gear, or that of some other top quality breeders gear, and then at Nirvana's, Nirvana's looks pretty darn appealing dollars and cents wise and it fits the budget or far more people than top quality breeders gear does, so they purchase it.

I got hooked by the price.

What is your seed bank of choice?
