AK47 from bulk s10 days after harvest. Spent 4 days in the grow room dryingar 40% rh and 70 degrees, then jarred up and opened every day sometimes for 30 min. Yesterday evening it smelled dusty. Obviously it was too damp to put in the jar.

yeah bro its majorly molded those spores are huge im with taz make some oils with that shit . never jar until the buds are dry i dont care if it takes a hanging and a brown bagging . if the outside of the buds feel crisp and dry but your stems aren't snapping and are still rubber like then the inside of those nugs r river wet never jar until those stems snap trust bro you will get hay everytime no matter how long you cure. remember anyone with a greenthumb can grow weed but only a true student can master the art of drying and curing this stage of the culture kicks peoples ass because they become antsy and wanna smoke. drying and curing cannabis is a true craft and only the patient will reap the sweet stinky reward. Start over bro never give up been there done that hay weed and all. u dont need bovida packs either if u just let the plants dry until the stem snaps not bend like rubber but snaps then jar and burp 4 times a day for about 15 minutes a burp for two weeks and u can smoke or continue to cure until u reach your preferred level of achievement .

The most common mistake is jarring buds too soon, perhaps hang the plant upside down with a dehuey set at 55% until the stems snap, then jar, burp until humidity hits 55% and be done.

A germicidial bulb kills 99.99% of germs, kills mold spores for buds, used it this year.. Chop out the infected area and run it under a uvc light for a quick 5 seconds to kill all the spores to prevent spreading. I disagree with everyone saying to wait for the stem to snap, I always waited for a nice dry crisp on the buds and the stem DOESN"T snap. This year was my first successful grow and i had to cure 10 lbs in jars, everything turned out the same! I used to think curing was tricky, but after having so much bud to cure, its just something you get the feel for.

Last time I tried that the result was hay.
