Doesn't Get Me High And Tastes Like Perfume

Just finished my fist crop of Chocolope. I let it go 9 weeks and harvested, let it dry for 5 days and has been curing for 2 weeks. It looks really good, smells really fruity. Yesterday I rolled a joint with it. It had a weird taste like perfume and it didnt get me high at all. Any ideas???

Are there lots of trichomes on the nugs?

Hmmm, that is odd. i have had plants i have chopped early (not saying your was) that got me pretty blown out. Typically if it is harvested early it still gets you buzzed, it's just a different type of buzz(more heady) where as plant harvested later have a more couch lock thing going on...was it exposed to alot of light during the drying process? that can cause a degrade of THC

No it was not an auto. It was dried in the closet with no light leaks. It smells so fruity and good. Could having ONA in the grow room cause it to taste like perfume. The trics were mostly cloudy when i harvested.

yeah ive also harvested early on some plants and still get loaded beyond belief...ive had buds that didnt have a strong smell when cured but ALWAYS gets me lifted

Did you flush well before chopping?
How does it burn?

It would be wierd that you don't get any high out of it. Not even a BUZZZ?

I smoked a joint and waited about 10 mins then smoked some other shit i got from the club. but in those 10 mins i really didnt feel anything

It ain't done my friend. You might as well be smokin wet grass. Keep burping and check the RH in the jar. When it gets down to 55 that's the magic number

Even if it's not cured all the way you should still get high. It might not be at it's peak, but high nonetheless.

Exactly. That's why the answer is that it was not ripe when it was chopped.

Absolutely. And believe me I dont wait till 55 to start smokin. If I have nothin else around I'll smoke it at 60

you never know on a single plant, anything can pop out
but the perfume, i just had a grow like that, perfume like buds
taste was fair, but wasn't lacking in high, pretty good actually, so perfume is just one of the many odors MJ can produce
