Does this look close to you??

Looking good man! I say one more week wouldn't hurt. Dont know if I'd water much more. Nows a good time to snip a branch so you can compare the difference in harvest times. bongsmilieI just trimmed a couple off mine to see if waiting makes THAT big a difference in buzz.

+1 on the rep!

ya i pinched a little nugget. It didnt have much smell until i pinched it and man what a unique odor. It smelled like citrus pine with a hint of spoiled food, lol.

AGAIN i repeat nice grow happy smokin and i would give it another week but man those are pretty much 50% to 50% cloudy and amber

PLEASE

Don't give advice if you don't know what your talking about. It takes a minimum 30x microscope and good light to see the trichs of a plant. HOW pray tell did you deduce the color of them, and hence this persons plants readiness to be harvested from a PHOTO ?

RED HAIRS do NOT = AMBER TRICHS !!!

Donkey - - You have to loop your trichs as previously stated to know for sure, but IMO your buds look like they could
stand to ripen considerably (at least a couple of weeks). The look airy, and havn't firmed up yet.

airy could be because it was a CFL grow then just a 70w hps... i think they look Wonderful for CFLs and a 70w.... i don't know what more i would expect.

who cares if they are airy.... theres an A$$ load of trichs on there and as long as they have a chance to ripen the potency will still be there.

edit.. i guess i care if they are airy and harvested too early... but if they are ripe and airy... thats the way they are going to be. If you harvest airy unripened buds then we have a problem... :D

ya i expect em to be a little airy, this is my first time growing after all. Im gonna wait till the calyxes swell and the red hairs begin to retract before cutting, at least one more week. I just posted in case the early ripening was due to my error. But I think i just have a nice, quick flowering pheno. I sure am glad I've got clones from this bitch. Hopefully i can get things dialed in and get more weight from the next generation.

Eventually I will get a 600w cooltube in there, but for now I just don't have the funds and have to work with what i've got.

Did u whack them with any home-made Co2?

Ya I got a empty gallon of milk and did the yeast/water/sugar thing and ran a small air hose from it to the intake fan. I'm not sure if it did any good, but it was practically free and I'm sure it didn't hurt anything.

donk.. how long did that gallon last? and did you have exhaust running the whole time? or did you have it set to a schedule?

it was totally ghetto, i just rigged it up and stuck it in there a month ago, its probably time to mix up a new batch. ya there was exhaust, to keep the temps down in there i had tons of airflow, but whatever CO2 came through the hose was blown over the plants, before it was blown out. I really don't know if it did any good, but I will say that because i live in a warm weather climate, the temps would run from 81-86 in there with lights on and they seemed to be able to handle it.

tru. i'm going to try out a 5gal water jug co2 setup.... prolly make a huge mess but i don't have time to be swapping out 2litres weekly.

any new pics?

I'll take some more in a couple days, I have noticed some swelling and a burst of new pistil growth. I am pretty sure i can get another full week out of it. I'm just worried that the yellowing and dieing off of the fan leaves is going to move to the sweet sugar leafs, some buds more so than others.

bought the $9 mag. glass from Radio Shack, was able to get some decent pics, then use zoom to check the trichs. Looks to me like there are a couple ambers here and there but its still 90% cloudy and clear. I'm just losing so many leaves with what appears to be another ten+ days. Here's some pics i was able to get with teh new scope.

dont worry about the leaves. they aren't sucking up anymore nutes now so they are just draining themselves... this is a good thing.

day 46 of flower, i wish i could figure out how to upload or save a picture after using zoom. You can get a really good look at the trichs that way, but i can only upload the original pics i guess. From what i can see there are almost no ambers yet.

getting closer, still no ambers yet. I did chop one small top about a week ago and smoked it after a 5 or 6 day cure. It was fucking sweet! kind of a fresh, mildly fruity, pine taste. My first taste of it was with 3 drunk girls i met at the bar, they loved it, it was awesome. I'm so stoked this has turned out so well.

awesome going man. Yours look very similar to mine, only much better. I noticed my leaves going yellow from top down too, was this the case with yours? Im feeling confident that the yellowing this late in the game doesnt seem to matter.

Our harvests are gna be close together, try and get a dry weight of the manicured buds of your big plant. Im just curious how they'll measure. again. +1!:bigjoint:
