Sometimes I give a like to a comment on these zombie threads just to see if they're still around. Especially if they were "last seen" more than 5 years ago, preferably 10+.

do u think indicas get much better (more potent) after 8 or 9 weeks?? ive heard that the THC starts to degrade in the light after that period as the plant has already reached its full potential!!

it does sound logical as the flower period is only serposed to be 8-9weeks for most indicaz??

any1??:peace:
I flowered an indica for like 12 weeks( sunset sherbert) and by that point it was all mostly cbn

people always go on about the last 2 weeks of flowering, do u realy notice ur buds swelling in the final 2 weeks, i have done a fiew grows and know what i think, lets hear all ur opinions on the matter!!!??????????

post away fellow greenthumbs:hump:
My experience with autoflowers I generally flower at least a month longer than the seed company or strain calls for, far as smoke preferences longer you flower the stronger and better smoke, that's been my experience but I mostly grow photos 2 months of veg, which is the life of autos, add couple of months for flower and triple the harvest.

I would say that the last 2 weeks certainly aren't the BIGGEST growing weeks like a lot of people claim, but there is substantially swelling between weeks 6-9. So if your plant takes 9 weeks to flower I would say that yes, the swell between week 7 and nine is pretty big.

The thing is that if it takes 11 weeks, I haven't seen the huge swell between 9 and 11 while it's reaching potency. Feels like I'm just staring at trichomes and waiting. Buds aren't necessarily getting a whole lot bigger. The Calyx's do swell a bit more and the bud puts on density and hardness more than anything else.
I totally agree. I posted some videos of my grow on instagram as lasvegas420grow. I was growing pop rox and well I am still now and I am in week 7 now. I noticed in the videos there was a huge difference between week 7 until week 9. I chop mines end of week 9 which is day 63 in flower. This pic was almost week end of week 6. So I'm thinking in the next 2 weeks, they will swell up more!

I had to harvest early due to suspected mold, one plant was right on schedule, the other 2 were roughly 2 weeks early.

Now, the finished plant was a White widow and the others were Blueberry. From the outside with no scope, they looked to be at the same stage, but once I started trimming buds and cutting them off the stem, there was a noticeable difference in density between the two.

I tried giving away a bunch of HPS gear for free no one wanted it. Finally after a year someone took it for free.
Yep, I took a few 400 hps fixtures and have them hung up in my back shop in the garage, they occasionally come in handy for when i have outdoor plants that need to finish another week or two at the end of the season , and N Mi weather isnt cooperating . I got them from my neighbor for free cause he couldnt sell em. HPS still have their place still in an extremely limited role but LED is king now :)
