Does Anyone Remember Thai Stick?

Shit yeah I remember thai stick! When I was in the army people would fill stereo speakers with it and ship it home. Things were a lot looser back in 69 and 70. I used to love thai and vietnam weed.

I don't think it would be an easy thing to forget tai. When I was a young stoner I was used to what I now call "dirt weed" but we just called it weed. Well my cousin upon partaking of a bowl of my weed says "Take this home with you and don't share it with anyone, it's just for you." He tells me it's tai stick and that it's really good. I look at the tiny nug he handed me in a cigarrette plastic and think, that thing is tiny! My cousin is Ebeneezer scrooge man! Well I took his advice and kept it secret, that little nug got me VERY VERY high, twice. Never seen it since then and that was 1978. Never forgot it either. Yum, tai!

I never saw it again but I will never forget either.
Wicked stuff.

It definitely is a mixture of some stuff wrapped up but I honestly have no idea what was in it.

I remember thai stick back in the 70's... tight," brown" bud wrapped up tightly with hemp
on it's little stick...........$15.00.

Man I got wicked high off it. Yeah I remember the rumor that tai was dipped in opium. I heard about that rumor after I had smoked so after I would tell friends "Yeah, I've smoked opium, it's pretty cool." ha ha!

Actually a friend of mine who went to Amsterdam in 1993 JUST grew some of that this past summer....dutch thai. He had some seeds from some he brought back from there 14 years ago and planted them. It took a full 26 WEEKS to go from seed to finish. (true TRUE sativa) After all that he harvested about an ounce. I think that's why it's not really around any more.

PS...He's JUST harvested and trimmed it up. I will report when he tries it for the first good go. ;)

Man please will anybody send me like 5 seeds for chocolate thai please. Ive been lookin for it for so long, my pops use to tell me stores about it.:sad:
