I had a big fucking rattler in a glass cage in my house for a month one time.few years back till we figered out how to tye him to a plant and put them rite in a open fence row togeather.why?TO get some people to show that big ass girl to some rippers and NOT ONE PERSON took the bait that time.LOL..KY

OK to begin with I LOVE the girl and the gardner. So many memories of my youth flooding back to my first capture of just such a snake Pink Bellies were first, but that was indeed second.). So much happiness as I think of my granddaughter about that age as I "caught" one for her and let her hold it. This image is the stuff that makes for a life worth living!
OK so on the purple fan leafs. Last night was cold here, in the 40's a friend of mine across town at a slightly higher elevation got hail and a spattering of instantly melting snow (mid June, I f'ing know right?) Anyway my plants had been purple free for a bit and after last night they added some new visible purple this morning. I've been worried trying to figure out the root cause of the purple, and today I can say I'm 99% sure it was the lower than 40 temps of a night. Nice to have it identified, I still need to understand the consequences of the purple. All things in it's time I suppose, but damn me if it isn't a carnival of fun identify through observation and analysis what my plants are trying to tell me.

That is great that's all that was wrong and with time you will read the plants with out even thinking about what you are doing.
So I have been posting in the Docs Dank Seeds thread and the outdoor section a lot but work hasn't stopped in the lab. Sips are kicking ass and will post a thread in the vert section for the octagon. Will pick up the fan for the air cooling system today from Miguel.

good days and bad man, no new place yet, well an interim one that I can't grow in which is handy and annoying in the same breath. bank refused me a loan even with good credit so i'm broke and stuck. fun times. you look pretty set though now man! good to see you bounce back fast.
interesting... i did a planter of those several years back. never got to scraping them though!

But that's how you get the milk. I did that to a bunch of poppies once and gathered all the sap that oozed out but then didn't know what to do with it. Tried smoking it and some dried flowers but didn't get high. That was way back before google lol.

That sucks man i don't know how bounced back I am. I am fucking stupid broke having to find a part time job so I can get my va loan to get a place. Atlest I have a crop on the way and a lot of new genetics collected and gifted this spring. Durizl hooked it up with some really nice males here lately which was hella cool. Got Dst a bad ass bubbler for the contest but trying to get a nice rig made. First one fucking cracked on me

yeah it's a bit crap now but I'm holding on to the belief I'll be ok eventually. It's killing me not having a grow going. I'd literally just set up the stable mother wise too.
I was looking at the piece you put up last in the 6, looked UV i think, pretty sweet skill to take up man. idk about glass blowing but I imagine that re heating already blown might cause issues like the cracking?! those bottles are pretty thin.

that makes sense if one is guess end is molten and the other not there's going to be quite a difference in temp.

I watched a show with these big ass poppy pods that were a very dark blue, so dark they were nearly black and they just looked fucking mean as hell and they sliced the pods or whatever they're called and this white sap oozed out. Seems like they collected the sap and let the liquid evaporate leaving raw opium or something. I might be way off but I have no interest in googling the subject lol. I was just struck at how beautiful those big dark pods were. Like this but dark, dark blue in color. I been in love with the plant since seeing that but have never grown them. I didn't even know you could get seeds.
