I'm glad you got a good pill for your first experience. If you want to continue having good experiences I can not recommend you invest in a set of reagent test kits emphatically enough. They can save you a bunch of money, and more importantly bad experiences. Also please use ecstasydata.org and pillreports.com.
I had a friend who lost the magic after his eighth experience when he took two unknown pills. He still enjoys MDMA but the magic never came back. He's the only person I know who lost the magic in less than fifty experiences. I'd hate for someone else to have that happen.

LOL? Heroin is diacetylmorphine. diacetylmorphine is a Class A Controlled substance, which means it is for Hospital use only..... Oxy is a Class A as well, but its not just in hospitals is it?

diacetylmorphine comes in many forms, Pharmaceutical and otherwise.... it has been known for a LONG time that there are Uppers, and downers. in the 60's it used to be simple... Opoids, and Amphetamines. Now-a-days downers can be Barbituates, opoids (Morphine, heroin, Codine) and other things.

Selling downers as Uppers is a myth... but not Heroin based pills.

Corbat adding that group makes it a different molecule. Making MDMA from meth would be a pain in the ass synthetically. The alkyl substituent and the phenol are both ortho, para directors. You would get almost exclusively 2,4 hydroxymethamphetamine. Which won't become MDMA no matter what you do.
PiHKAL doesn't have a synth for MDMA starting from benzene. Because he has a synth from MDA using formic acid, and one from MDP2P, with 2 routes to that, one from piperonal and one from safrole. Because they weren't closely watched until well after the publication of TiHKAL.
Starting from benzene use one the 8 billion routes to phenol, oxidize with H2O2 to catechol. Use preferred method to separate out any 1,4 dihydroxybenzene. React with allyl bromide, using a slight excess of catechol. Run through a column to separate unreacted catechol (save), and and any of the diether. Take the allylcatechol and heat the fuck out of it, iirc it's around 270°C that it rearranges to 3,4 dihydroxy-1-allylbenzene. Using strong base and a phase transfer catalyst react with CH2Br2 or CH2I2 to form safrole. Wacker oxidize it and reductively aminate.

Truth is, unless YOU made the pill or witnessed the person making the pill, you will never know 100% what's in the ecstasy you buy.. Just be safe about it, don't overdo it when you're trying pills or powder for the first time...

I always figured meth and MDMA were similar, but no way!
Am I wrong or do they both have a similar precursor, MDP2P?

The first and only ecstacy I tried was tall and had a NY symbol on it...it was whitish with like dark yellow speckles...it worked...I tried it blindly...I enjoyed the effects, although there was a moment of nausea...I drove a short distance and at the time i had a convertible, so the sensation of the speed and the wind in my hair...it was like I had never really felt driving before that day...I would love to get a hold of some again...but I have no idea how or where...
