Like seriously do you live under a rock man.....What do you think sex education is...You start learning about that before you are even a teenager. Also you know that legalization as i showed via the alcohol example is legal but you must be a certain age. Your examples are pretty bad...There like saying do you want a 50 year old guy fucking a 10 year old OBVIOUSLY I DONT THINK THAT but thats like your examples...or why cant a person totally disobey laws just like the liquor laws we have now. And lastly, for those of you who say "legalizing cannabis sends the wrong message to children", all I can say is: What a cop out. The truly wrong message is that it is OK for the government to lie! And as for damage to the children of cannabis users, I would like to point you to a study done in Jamaica in the 1980's that determined that babies born to cannabis users tested BETTER on evaluations at 30 days of age than babies born to non-cannabis users.
And guess what, when a five year follow-up showed that these cannabis drenched children were doing just a well as children unexposed to cannabis, (thank you very much) NIDA defunded the study.
I hope this makes some of you want to insist that the truth be told, and acted upon. I am asking you to write to or call your elected representatives, and tell them what you have found out, and demand a change.
You should also know, that very ill people who use cannabis as medicine are being arrested each day, or live in fear of being arrested. This is what is truly criminal.

Because most states can make more money annually fining users rather than selling it to them. Some states, however, like California and Colorado produce it as a cash crop and make more money selling it, which cuts down the "crime" rate. It depends on the state, but it will always be a federal crime. Hemp, however, is legal.
Federal law trumps all state law. The federal govt can enact any laws if the authority derives from the US Const. The US Const gives the federal govt the right to control Interstate Commerce. Based on this clause in the Const., the federal govt has passed laws regulating drugs. Marijuana is classified as a drug, and falls under the express regulations of the federal govt. It is unlawful to possess or distribute marijuana, except in very limited circumstances. State laws that attempted to 'legalize' marijuana have been held to be unconst by the US Supreme Ct, and are not valid.

There were an estimated 708,000 new inhalant users in 1997, up from 332,000 in 1989.
Will banning spray paint keep kids from using inhalants? Should we make cooking spay illegal? How about Gasoline?
It's up to parents to police their children, but of course some kids are going to use whatever means to escape reality.
The fact is Cannabis use has been proven to be less harmful than many other things people engage in. The same can't be same about crack.
Would you rather have your kid smoking pot, or huffing off a gasoline can?

I just hope it's never legal. Their is a criminal underworld that would go away,drug companies losing profits,kids dropping out of school cause their more laid back instead of being hungry for more education. Many poor people in mexico would be even poorer if they had no need to grow pot ANymore cause it can be grown safe and legally. You guys got tunnel vision. Open your eyes up.

Your right what was i thinking about not taking the criminal underworld and mexico drug lords into consideration. So sad that there businesses would be cut down considerably and they would not be able to murder because of pot anymore. And all that underground money that no one except for there circle benefits from would be hurt too. Damn to think that it may help with a nation rather then a circle of thugs and losers. Kids dont drop out of school cause of pot if your dumb your dumb, if you have no drive you have no drive...And drug companies would not lose money i dont get your reasoning. Pot is not a cure all, only one or two medicines may be affected and do you really not think that drug companies will higher growers and chemists to see the potential of what the benefits of pot are. You know that the poppy plant is not legal but yet testing is conducted and the chemicals are obtained via controlled fields, without the proper research such a beneficial medicine for people in chronic pain or just injuries would not exist.. where do you think most all pain killers come from the research of a poppy pod. Morphine, hydrocodon, etc.

LOL you guys, I was totally joking. I'm a daily smoker for probably the past 15 years. I know pot doesn't make you stupid or lazy, and I know legalizing it wouldn't mean 5 year olds could go into the store and buy it.
I was simply regurgitating all the arguments against legalization that I've heard. I think legal cannabis would be a blessing. Not only for the smokables, but for the hemp as well.

if it was legal... millions of people would lose jobs/money... lawyers, legal advisors, judges, cops,...... dealers....
