Do males always grow faster than Fems??

I have a female and a male in flower and the male is growing wayyyy to fast...like inches a day... I raised the light yesterday went into the room this morning and the male flowers were up in the t5's getting burnt, overnight it grew 2 inches

It sat up inside the lights touching the bulbs for about 2 hours luckily that is the only one that burnt even thought all of the flowers were up in the bulbs.

The females are coming along great just not nearly as fast and they were all planted and came up at the same time.

Maybe it is what I am feeding them? Every plant is getting different nutes.

Male is getting 3 part GH with all the xtreme nutrient additive line

female 1 is getting cutting edge, whole line

female 2 is getting veg + bloom only

I was thinkin about sayin screw it and feeding them all what the male is getting and seeing if that is what it is and not just the individual plants.

That xtreme nutrient stuff is supposed to be some balls to the wall stuff, very expensive and a lot of botany mumbo jumbo behind their products

yea males usally grow faster in my experince i dont think it has anything to do with nutes. wouldnt hurt to try though

Why are you growing a male? Clearly you don't want bud but want to produce seeds. That is the ONLY reason to keep a male hanging around.

Not always, I had 3 plants and the tallest one turned out to be the only female.

He's already said in other threads he's going to seed entirely and cares not about bud. He doesn't smoke. Anymore.

isn't it obvious that he wants the males to be there, if he knows they're males and doesn't get rid of them>?

Yeah my last grow the biggest brightest plant was male. I feel so bad killing them in the future I want to plant them in public gardens to be discovered. At least let someone else kill it hehe

By some of the posts I read here, I have found myself realizing some people think it's still bud.

Haha! i have this second just had to kill a male...But i was thinking i should just put it somewhere!

Ended up dieng to a pack of playing cards being thrown at it got the chop at about 33. haha :leaf:

Males sexually mature faster and most of the time they do grow the tallest faster,but for a lot of males node growth is about the same as a females but this is not true all the time.
In the same strain i find it to be rather common but multiple strains will vary.

hehe yea here we have public pea patches and gardens in just about every neighborhood. Also in those circle roundabout's at intersections people plant flowers there, I figured go at night and just place it front and center for all to see on their morning commute.

Ah thats excellent.. I think i have another male he will be getting that treatment!

But all seriousness the male plant was growing at double the speed of my others it was twice the size and first to show sex.

Yea most of the people that have posted got it right and know what I am trying to do. I do not smoke anymore and am purely growing for amusement and hobby. So I want a lot of seeds so I can play and don't have to go spend hundreds on seeds.

If I do get some sensi buds I can just give em to some friends or just take the time to pick the seeds out of some of the buds and give it away.

The male I have was the biggest and fastest grower from the start, grew twice as fast as the other four. 2 were males and 2 were females and one was a runt that never got bigger than a baby bonsai so I chopped it.

I have many many reviews and tests I am obligated to do that I said I would for this forum so I need a good amount of seeds luckily the bag seed I got gave me a decent front runner male and 2 decent females

Now I can do all my tests from seed and get more thorough results and don't have to deal with clones

With the seeds you reap if all comes full term you can grow barrels of sins. And it is with an "i" = Spanish Sin (without) Semillas (seeds) Sinsemilla, hece, en Espanol. Y colas tienes "Tails" en Ingles. Cola is from Spanish as well and means tail. Tu tiene cola, buey?

Oh man! Go look up one of my posts I forgot what thread I started but some guy was like "Take that male out of the room! You will get all the seeds you need from that male without having it fuck up your females. Why would you keep them together!?!?"

Meh tomato tomoto I just call it sensi cause of one of the nutes I saw called sensi bloom or some crap
