DJ AJ's Dwc Recirculating Pvc Perpetual Grow.

Ok guys, so ive been on this these forums for awhile, and im just finishing up my second batch of herbs. At the moment im in a 5x5 closet using, cfls, and t12's. My second batch is almost done, and im moving to my new house in august. The house im moving to has a huge wooden shed with water, and electrical outlets in it. im going to using 10x5 of it and make a 5x5 flower room and a 5x5 veg/clone room. I plan on using a 400 watt Hps light in the flower and a 250 watt hm in the veg/clone. Im going to have 6 plants a room, cause legally i can have 12. Im going to use a rubbermaid tote and cut a whole for the 4 inch pvc pipe. Im going to use about a 4 foot piece of it coming out from the tote, and thats going to go to a turn connecter, witch will be another strait 4 foot pvc pipe. then another turn and another 4 foot pvc pipe, with a cap on it. then ill drill a whole for the water pump in my Rubbermaid tote, to run water threw that end of the pipe, i will have a Dam at the end of the inside of the tube, the height i want the water level to be. im going to use a 250 gph water pump, inside the tote to stream the water to the closed side of the tube. In the rubbermaid tote i will have my nutrients and maybe ill throw in a couple airstones to help oxygenate the water heres some pics of my grow now, getting ready to move, and gonna start building the new set up. also ill draw out the room design and post a pic. thanks for reading, and any comments or advice would be great.

note, i had to tie my buds up, they kept falling over, im cutting at the end of the month before i move. Thats 1 plant thats all budded theres another smaller one to the right of it not ass budded in the same bucket.

Looks more like NFT to me...but it'll work.

4inch pipe is kinda small, especially if you're going to add veg time in the clone room.
might wanna get something bigger

yah i have been looking at some and i can only find 4 inch for a good price. ill go for 6 inch forsure. and a NFT? whats that im going to be completely new to this system cause it seems easier to make and easier to manage.

Yea. It's definitely going to be worth the added cost to buy the right pipe in the beginning. You don't want to realize that 4" is too small in the middle of your grow and have to deal with a flood or stunted plants. That being said, I have sogged in 4" gutter channels filled with hydroton...

As far as NFT, it's basically the same as your RDWC idea, but with less water in the channels. Think of NFT as recirculating Shallow water culture. How deep can water in a 4" PVC pipe really be???
