I had a small issue with whiteflies ( little fuckers ) and that is why I was inspecting plants. When I was running the Deep Red LEDs it wasn't readily apparent that this plant was much different.
I've played around with one of those lux meter apps. Might just give it another try.
Is this the same for this type from Lowes? I've been using this type but am open to finding out if it's garbage.
Thats what i use not from lowes i buy it by the bale at our farm store, can have bugs but mix in some neem oil and d.m.

It might sound a bit silly, bit the best way I found to use the sticky traps, is to stick them to the wall s of my tent just behind my fans. The air suction from the fans would suck all these buggers right into your sticky traps. I used this method with 2x 8" fans and it worked well, in conjunction with a very small amount of 35% hydrogen peroxide that I added to the res. Worked for me w/o using any harsh chemicals.
@Budzbuddha is bagged soils are not stored properly they can get bugs "stored outside". If it's all you have access to I get it.
Home Depot does the same thing. All of their soil is outside -- and it rains a LOT here.
I always try to avoid wet bagged amendments or mixes. I have had wet compost kill anything and everything. I get most of my big stuff as soon as the stuff arrives at supermarkets and big boxes in the spring but have plenty hoarded. Can never say enough for Back To Nature Cotton Burr Compost and maybe Black Kow!Home Depot does the same thing. All of their soil is outside -- and it rains a LOT here.

Yeah but thats a huge pile of peet up there in canada there using, i hate wasting it, i shake off the rootballs and reuse as much as i can, never tried coco maybe this is the year as i would love to try it, just always used promix with such great results, ive amended promix with some composted soil for great drainage and added nutes, but like everyone always looking for a different ways to grow
I've read that we have large peat reserves here in Michigan (mainly in the upper peninsula), but I don't know if that's still the case. The most recent report I can find on the subject is from 1976! With the craft distillery movement picking up steam here, I've been waiting for someone to make a Michigan peat malt whisky, but I haven't seen that yet. Maybe our peat doesn't give the right flavor profile, compared to Scotland's.
