Ok so i finished my new system and i must say i'm really happy with it.. i went with a 9000ltr and hour pump which is a beast of thing feeding 4 sites..

2inch returns and no air pumps in sight, plants have pushed roots out much faster than they did with my bought iws system..

Just wanna say thanks to all that gave there advise.

5 EZ Store Lids for 8 or 13 gallon containers (703994)
4 8" Gro Pro Heavy Duty Net Pots (724435)
1 Active Aqua Commercial Air pump (8 outlets 60watt 70 Liter per minute (AAPA70L)
1 Active Aqua Submersible water pump (1000 gph) (AAPW1000)
10 2" UC Spin Tight bulkheads (Current Culture)
2 CCH2O Bulkhead filters (Current Culture)
4 Eco Plus water wind micro bubble air diffuser ring 8" (728219)
4' Active Aqua 1" black tubing 20' Active Aqua 3/8" clear tubing (HGTB38-25)
1 Active Aqua 1" T Connector (AAT100)
2 Active Aqua 1" Elbow Connector (AAEL100)

Hardware Store Parts: 6 feet of 2" schedule 40 PVC
6 inches of 1" schedule 40 PVC
1 2"x1" schedule 40 T fitting
1 1" PVC ball valve socket
4 2" PVC 90 degree elbows
3 3/8" barbed nylon T connectors
1 1" PVC adapter to 1" barbed
1 can Harvey MP-6 multi purpose cement for ABS/PVC/CPVC
16 small zip ties
Tools: Sawzall
Drill
Deburr tool
1/2" drill bit 2 3/4" hole saw (two and three quarters)
metal sawzall blade
sanding block
1/4" drill bit
silver sharpie marker
measuring tape
hose/tubing cutter
step drill bit

8- 5 gallon buckets/ lids you cut holes in to the size net pot you wanna use.
2- 2" ABS 90*.
2- 2" ABS Tee.
10'+ of 2" ABS pipe.
3-5' of 1/2" black vinyl tubing.
1- 8gal EZ store container from Walmart.com.
3" hole saw for bulk heads and uniseals.
And a 2 piece step bit set from harbor freight.

That's literally all you need.

Pa hydroponics fallponics. Waaaaaaay smaller pumps. Shit u can buy theirs pre fab for under 500

Possibly with lids and net pots. Otherwise ill collect and sanitize old cat litter containers and buy net pots and cut the lids. Also look at the pumps they use. Waaaaaaaay smaller and cheaper with tons of thought going into why they choose them.

Decent system. I'd rather just build mine though. That elbow for the porthole is a little wack.

I thought the water fall replaced the air stone?Is that pump just way to small in that viideo?Why the big drains ,seems exspensive.

B/c there is so much equipment in a RDWC that in comparison, 1 seed and dirt filled pot would be a lot simpler. And when you’re first starting out, less is more... that’s why.
