Diy FOTOP grow board 280x900x2.0mm (L29.52"xW9.18")

Yeah, more boards , always more boards :)

That's the grow space

I can ditch the tent, get some mylar sheets & get creative, but in my current situation I'm afraid I need that money to "grow on trees" ;)
The kit I listed looks like max I can dish out with this one, as I already got plans for the rest of the loot.

But im catching the drift.
More boards = less current = less heat + more umol/j + uniform footprint across the whole area.

Thanks for your insights bois
Much appreciated
Keep ya posted ;)

So week 8 for these autos, it's definitely bud town, strangely the indica dominant ones are handling the extreme ppfd better than sativas, puzzling indeed. So far only got one bud bleached , literally 2mm squared, I moved it back a couple notches , otherwise going strong, hopefully these will fill up some more over the next 2 weeks prior to flush.

Sorry guys, I had toIMG_20190826_220338.jpgI'm in love with this pheno.
It's Colorado Cookies Auto from Dutch Passion. I just love when they swell up like that and stack fractally.
And I'm also emotionally tied to the ruderalis genes, due to them being indigenous to my fatherland :)

Yes, this is well known. You want to see what we call a sativa these days shine? Grow it outdoors over autumn and winter in a mild climate, after vegging indoors.

Well known is that sativas are from equator, and should handle temps and ppfd better , so it is quite interesting.

Maybe you would like to elaborate on your point ? I like to learn new stuff :)

And in my climate they would get 4 meters high at least, and die mid flower from deer, killer snails, and curious Danes . Plus a 4-5m tall plant is a little bit of a bump on the landscape :)

Ive heard that they actually enjoy moderate climate much more. Once upon a time I was a UPS guy, and I had a delivery to a house in the middle of nowhere, after unloading I continued driving between fields, and to my surprise there was a hemp field around 5 ha. They were 5 m tall and colas size of baseball bat.

I got a feeling that this was a good idea after allIMG_20190830_122051.jpg IMG_20190830_122020.jpg IMG_20190830_122035.jpg

Very mild light burn on literally a handful of tops, Rh is kept at 30-45% at all times, no signs of bud rot, just dank dank dank, and they got 3 weeks to go ! ;)
I might get more boards than anticipated guys :)

So, I ran them gyals under a 60x and even though they seem mostly white on the pistils, the trichomes are saying a totally different story, therefore the cheapo LEDs proved again that UV and IR do play a big part. Efficiency wise though , all the cheese goes to QB's.
Im commencing the flush.
pH water and that's it for them.
I wander what's on the scales :) I guess I'll find out in two-three weeks ;)IMG_20190903_151517.jpg IMG_20190903_151409.jpg IMG_20190903_151438.jpg IMG_20190903_151347.jpg keep ya posted :)

I would be drawing a different conclusion.
If my pistils are white but the trichs are turning amber then I would be upset.
No point having trichs degrading before plants have done growing and packing on the weight.
I wouldn't be cutting them for at least 3 weeks.

Yeah I thought 3 weeks too, but when I looked at the trichs I was like, do I really care about the extra g's if the end product is gonna give people couch-lockus-comatosis ?

Im the opposite. If my weed puts my mates on their asses its a bonus. They wont talk so much :eyesmoke:

In all seriousness though id say the difference will be more than grams, it will be ounces.

Well too bad, I got the ladies on the sides to tend to, these are in the way. They get flushed and that's it. I also ran out of BioBloom, and those who are mostly white pistils are side fluff anyway.

Plus the lamp is not suitable for this setup.
The ones that would get big will get outright damaged, the other ones didn't get optimal light from the start, it's a shit show, time to pull the plug ;) and get that $$ for QB's

Killer lamp for a 4x4 though, if ya don't care bout your electricity bill.

Yeah, tricky business growing with limited height and that light I imagine.
Gona be nice having the space fully illuminated with boards. Looking forward to seeing what you pull next run.

Thanks, Im not saying your advice is bad, I fully agree they should go longer, it's just I simply can't risk it anymore, better get them early, Jamaica style, than fuck up and loose a ton of prime bud to bleaching or straight up damping off.
Plus I ran out of ferts, and patience for this wonky setup.
Thanks again for the advice on the lamps, and I'll keep ya posted on the results :)

Who knows, maybe these BioBizz molasses do accumulate and they will go next 2 weeks on ph water only. I doubt it but hey, they also should have some nutrition stacked up in the leaves. If they don't completely fade in the running week I'll try and pull them one more, just for your peace of mind ;) but those babies I had my hand over in the pic, they are sooo ready to go, the leaves begin to crack and yellow up, and there's a lot of amber on those. The bud extends like 10" down into the canopy. Love them high calyx/leaf phenos.

I wonder what the temps are gonna be running QB in this tent, I think the only reason I didn't run into humidity issues was due to high temps and constant airflow through and out.

@OrganicBudda can you hit me with a pm or tag when you get setup and ready to go, would love to see a start to finish grow on them.
@zypheruk Will do, sorry for not keeping u guys up to date, but I had a bit of a tight schedule lately :)

So far I netted 200 grams dry, but I still got a third of plants left growing :)
Had to stagger harvest, because of smell and limited space for drying ;(
Cbd gyals having it much better now that they got proper DLI.

I had some unexpected bills this month so I gotta check my budget, but I'm almost certain I pull the trigger on them in October.
