been busy lately! so out of the plants i last shown all but 2 in the buckets were males. My tiny soil plants gonna be done in a couple weeks, and maybe a month or 2 for the one behind it. the 2 plants that are left now i topped and they are bushes! the older one (the bigger one) is fire band and the other one is a bagseed from the lab, i forgot name. i now put 3 more seedlings into a pot they are skunk og, i also have 2 more afgani kush seeds in soil ill probly put in dwc. im using african violet still, and viagrow, i have a jug of water that i use to water my females, i put like 7 drops into the jug and a cup of viagrow. i just water with it till i run out then use the same mixture again, and repeat, i also water my 2 soil females with this mixture. theres white hairs everywhere all over the stems of the 2 big plants but you cant see them good in the pic. ill get some good ones once they swell up more. i hope to get an ounce from the big one and hopefully a oz from the smaller one.

So heres an update. both the plants in the bucket are almost 4 weeks in from showing sex, they are 12/12 one is bigger ones younger. the bigger is fireband og, idk the smaller one. i had to take them off the chairs and put them on a table cause they grew above the lights. also in the pic the light on the left is high i moved it down after pic. and i also posted a pic of a nug from a small soil plant i harvested, it gave me an 8th but got me faded

defiantly learned alot since i started growing, i use to be all worried and always look at my plants but now i dont really look at them just to water and look at rez levels
I quickly realized that is the first rule of growing. If you have no good reason to be messing with things, don't. lol

good job and all but dude you clones or seedlings are in straight rocks not hydroton or perlite straight rocks. theres a reason that people use hydroton or perlite its because it holds water. rocks on the other hand just get wet. just my two cents.

Which matters not a bit in dwc, as roots are always in water. :)

withe aero and dwc no media is needed. i only use foam collars and net pots in both. cleaner, easier, cheaper, no washing, and no stepping on those damn hydroton balls. that hurts.

lol i know about dwc. its just the fact that your using something other then whats normal. rocks, fish gravel..... whats next. just seems a little ghetto and cheap to me. but hey its your own grow. we all have are own thoughts and techniques.

Why be condescending about it though?

Not everyone can spend whatever on their grow at their discretion. And If it works, who cares what he uses? You think his plants will be upset that he used ghetto rocks instead of treating them to hydroton like real upscale ladies? lol...some of the best growers I've seen on here do "ghetto" shit and DIY with the things already around them. That's actually pretty clever imo, when you find a way to made do with what you got.
