The video I’ve watched on bokashi composting says you need to bury the waste for 2 weeks after it’s fermented in the bokashi bin before its unrecognisable is that wrong

Would be ideal if I could use a small bokashi bin in the garden with trimmed branches and then just dispose of fermented waste

I don't know. I forgot about my bokashi bins and they were outside. All I know is that there is nothing but slime in them now. I'm afraid to take the lids off the buckets. Last time I did the smell almost killed me. They're still sitting behind the greenhouse. Anything that went in is unrecognizable. Apparently you're supposed to drain off the liquid as it collects. I didn't do that and ended up with buckets of fermented yuck. But from what I researched it's a good process. You just have to maintain it which I didn't. Now I have a few buckets of yuck.

What if you burned the stalks and etc with other wood and yard clippings that would help mask the smell? Maybe get a bbq going too.

Would only work in the summer i guess as I don’t have any yard clippings in autumn/winter.

I wonder if enzymes can break down stems and leaves fast? Or some sort of extreme acid

I save up my trimmings and toss it into my blazing fireplace in winter time. The trimmings and stems, trunks are completely incinerated before anyone could locate the source in a city of 1000s of fireplaces. Also when it is incinerated so thoroughly i don't think it gives off the same fragrance, esp when burnt w oak, cherry wood etc.

I only have the option of a burning bin. No fireplace.

Got any idea how I can make the bin hot enough to have the same effect? I thought being covered in flammable liquid would of done that but it did stink

I burn it when I braai so the smoke mixes with that of wood.
it pretty much turns to ash,
