Mirrors may seem to reflect light but at least 90% of the light is absorbed into the mirror. Do not use tin foil if you are, it concentrates light into a single spot causing burns. My best advice is to invest in mylar or polyshield. I paid 24 bucks for 8 feet of it and have been using it for a couple grows now, relatively easy to clean and reuse. The yellowing is most likely caused by the stress of you putting the roots from soil to hydro( assuming thats what you did by the title of the thread). The plant will pull through the stress and then thrive, feed 1/3'd strength until the plant asks for more. Hope i helped.![]()
got pics up tell me what u think.... thanks for the input...
You shouldnt be using any nutes right now i dont think, even more so if the plants are telling you something is wrong, hold back on the nutes until at least 2 weeks in.
even in the hydro.. on the biggest one the leaves are like drying up. it seems as the leave is not getting any watter.. but the roots are doing great.. the top of the plant looks good but the bottem looks shittie... it makes me feel like the hps is too much for them right now... i might just swich to only floresent and run just stright watter
so I can run just watter on the new plants that i just moved from soil to hydro...
Being new you are going the wrong direction as soil is much much much much much much much much easier to grow than hydro. With the dro you can lose everything in few hours after a fucked water change where the soil is much more forgiving and can allow you to flush easier
just looking at ur post and no dont use any nutes yet and if ur new to growing stay with soil its better for bigginers i tried hydro and just could,nt get my head around it so my advice is stay with soil and just distiled water no nutes yet..Hope it helpsBeing new you are going the wrong direction as soil is much much much much much much much much easier to grow than hydro.
