Soil being "easier" is fair to say.I dont even put one single "much" before it.
Its like comparing a TRUCK with a car.they are not in the same league.Which one is better?
depends of what you expect.Hydro is more challenging and more rewarding at the same time.
I personally like hydro but i have had some good experience with soil either.
Lets be more fair bro.

yea i agree that is why i have one hydro and 2 soil.. The hydro i FIM and did lots of trimming.. one soil i tryed LST and the 3 soil im letting go.. do what ever it wants... out of 4 bag seeds got 3 girls.. well i had another one with the hydro but it just looked weard.. the structure was all wrong..... just killed it.. 5 girls is enough. 3 ww 1 slh and 1 g13 haze.. all girls.. plus just got red dragon Afghan kush ak-48 and Violator Kush .. hay Satica u mush be in hydro so a question for u... iv been using spring watter from the store. for the most part of the grow. but watter should be free and it was getting exp... so iv been using my house watter for like 2 weeks now.. it is high in alckline. spelling on that is wrong. any waz.. so i ph it down... but it just doesnt seem like i can get it under control now.. any thoughts on why...

I have a short thread about using too strong Nutrient if you are interested.The problem begins when we begin to believe since we are using 1/2 or 1/3 of their recommendations then we are safe and it s not true. I have a white widow in action (in my hydro) in 7th week of flower and she has never been fed with more than 0.9 EC and is inexcellent situation.yes hydro is this much effective if you keep ph in range.

There is no easy way for having a reliable source of water.I struggled for a while using tap water/distilled water(too expensive) and even rain water (EC= 0.001) but finally i convinced myself to buy a Reverse Osmosis system (about 170 cabadian dollar) and now i am in control. for youI recommend using distilled bottled water( most of them are about 300 ec which is too high) for first two weeks .then swithing to tap water is not that risky since the plants are stronger to addapt.

so i talked to my hydro lady today and she said to ph the watter first than add nuts.. man it took like 23 drops for one gallon.. at the price of the ph down i would just rather spend the money on the watter at the store.. so im hoping that will work and i can get this shit under control... in my hydro sistem it seems like roots are fragle.. dont get me wrong the roots is a massive wad.. but as soon as i change the watter there is roots floating around.. everything seem norm. with the plant though.. wonder what is going on... growing is kinda stress full... well RIU have a good one..

I have yet to try.. or grow =o/ But im sure ive read that viniger will lower your ph lvl and baking soda? will raise it? Vets or experienced plz feel free to correct me.. Also in a bubbleonics totourial in which i can think of the name.. Roseman?? He was ph'n 1gal and adding it to the 6gal res and removing a gal if it was over his water lvl.. Again any plz feel free to correct me as im have no grows under my belt soo im just trying to recall what ive read.

Water out of your tap has inorganic Ca and Mg, hardly enough nutes to keep a small
plant alive.
And your grow store lady is retarded, why would you pH the water
then add nutes? The nutes will throw the pH off and you will have to
add more pH buffer.
