Diesel Ryder Done Right

day1: started@5/30/08inpeatmosspelletswithtapwater(ph=6.5-7.5) hhhhahha and i set it in like a germ chanmger thing. They be under four 100w CFL 5,500k (daylight) 16onx8off.

Day2: Mixed .05ml of flora nova grow (7n4p10k) to a 32oz. spraybottle of ph-6.0 water. I heard that its not good to give them nutes when they sprout but i 'reckon' that negligable amounts will make little differance and could only help them right away.

Day i forgotL: Sprouts are 5 days old from seed. put them under mini computer fan i jacked out of a junk cpu from whatever.

Question:: Is the tempurature: 85deg. F with 40% relative humidity anywhere in the IDEAL temp. range for new sprouts?

cant wait to see some pics is the 85/40 the high or low temps of the day if its the hottest they get Id say they are okay but I prefer cooler temps 75 is what I shoot for in the day

yea, 85 = high temp i think the low is around 72 when i checked @ night. Im still working on modifying a filing cabinet for flowerisng under 400w hps homemade cooltube. Its all currently under construction but it will be hella *legit

i love theses plants, couldnt of been easier to grow. My dlrs are 8 weeks old on monday, Ill be updating my grow then with lots of pics. Ill be watching this one. Good luck dude happy growing. Enjoy the smell lol. yummy

how old were those when you transplanted them to their pots? And do you think that a party cup would be good size for the roots? i also wanna keep my plants sorta LOW with like one main cola. They will be going into ocean forest soil, so i really dont wanna burn them when they're only 2weeex old. hit me up!

i started mine in 5" pots and they in 8" ones now think i transplanted within the first month maybe 3 and half weeks. Its all in my grow jurnal in my signiture, lots of pics dude

alright i transplanted them from their starter pellets to soil now, and they're working on their second and third set of real leaves! man these fuckkers grow faaast! pics will be coming soon

It may be a bit different with the diesel cross, but my lowryder/ak47 showed sex at 13 days (from the sprout emerging)

damn, that early! im hoping for 3 females and one male so they can fuck each other and make some seeds!

my dlr's showed in bout 3 weeks males first, females wer tad slower at bout 28 days

That's under 24h lighting, mind you - maybe that's been speeding it up because the thing is growing hella fast.

LOL! Just noticed this - starcraft fuckin' rocks! It's a good omen, man, you're going to have a good grow, I know it. Too bad the little ones can't boom out a big voice to tell you stuff like : WE REQUIRE MORE H2O!

ok, update: the plants have been under 18/6 light cycle since birth, i move them outside on sunny days and give them rain water to drink. since you said that yours were on 24hr light i got my cfls on at night and its hard to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep because it gets up to 82 degreez!

i noticed that after leaving them outside for a while the color is changed where the n3west growth is coming in, they turning darker instead of deep green. but one looks like it has normal all around color. i hope they grow fast and gnarley with one main kola, any ideas on how to do that?

Well, I'm only putting mine on 24h for two reasons : one, I didn't want to bother with a contactor for my HPS and, two, I'm a bit curious to see how it turns out. I wouldn't say it's the best light regime, it's just what I decided to do.

As for getting one big cola, I think it's down to genetics. Some strains branch, some don't. My AK has 8-12 budding branches right now in addition to the main cola - most of the LR/LR2 I've seen have just the one popsicle-stick bud on the main cola. I guess you could chop all the branches that come up, but I'm not sure why you'd want to. More branches, more buds, more yield, no?
