Ok, this is just a little tip to help you get big veg plants.

Theres two types of ph down out there. One of them like growth techs has phosphoric acid in it which is great for flowering plants, but use this in growth & you'll get weaker plants.

Then there's the ph down from canna & uk grower. They have more nitric acid in them @38% this is great to get huge veging plants.

PH DOWN LIKE FROM GROWTH TECHNOLOGY contains Phosphoric Acid 81%. (IDEAL FOR FLOWERING PLANTS)
CANNA & ALSO UK GROWER PH DOWN HAS Nitric Acid (38%) THIS IS IDEAL FOR VEGING PLANTS

Seems to me if you have to use enough pH down that the small amount of nitrogen or phosphorous in it makes any difference at all, you have a larger problem.

at last someone who does there homework, i noticed this a few weeks ago when i brought everything i needed for my plants, i did a lot of research and reading on the bottle labels and i noticed this as well.
also some nutes have practicly the same stuff in them example i got a bottle of veg feed and a bottle of bloom feed and noticed the flower feed is only 2% higher in nitrogen (all the same ingridients were the same apart from 2% more nitrogen in the flower feed)

We don't use ph up (we use normal tap water to rise ph) so can't comment on that. will look into it n let u know

tap water can contain high amounts of alkaline (which raises PH up of course) as well as other contaminants that are very bad for marijuana plants. As we all know they are acid loving plants, not saying using tap water is not good it does work dont get me wrong. But it does have quite an impact on your yield.

You should read this about PH and your plants. Its very well put together and broken down to the basics (easy enough for people w/o P.H.D.'s like me :-P)

But a fantastic read
