Did i do it right?

i just planted weed a couple days ago and i have a sprout coming out of the soil currently, a little flower... howveer i grew it in miracle gro soil from the start, i also bought a lower soil ph sulfur stuff and i just added some into my plant....is that okay? will it hurt it? will it grow faster.. any help would be appreciated

Time will tell.. Dont feed it nutes for a few weeks ..
