The current system failed.
for example- fbi agents were warned of this mans
a- intention to do great bodily harm to others
b- ability and where with all to commit these crimes by gun sales records
c- dereliction of duty for not removing this man from his guns after his video was released, calling out his full intentions

In a statement, the FBI said "a person close to" Cruz called the agency's public tip line on Jan. 5 and left information on Cruz's "gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting."

This IS how this tragedy could have been prevented, with just one person their fucking job.

Notice how fast the fbi acted to lock up Cruz's brother with just one phone call?

no, the current laws were not enough evidently, nor were they followed, get it?
there is no law that punishes the fbi agent for ignoring the call.
There is no law against a cowardly cop hiding while kids get murdered, but at least he quit his job, admitting he's not a good cop anymore, or a doctor for over prescribing ssri's to the point of school shootings, the real issue behind the curtains as you know.
