guns banned? I only know of one gun ban other than the effective one against automatic weapons. You know as well as I that the bill to ban "assault rifles" was sabotaged by the gun lobby and their Republican hacks.

Fully automatic guns were never legal to begin with without a permit. Their status hasn't changed in decades. In fact, a friend of mine has a fully automatic 50 cal machine gun that came off a Boeing B17 G. He's had it for decades.

I was responding to fogdogs "effective one against automatics" below, I dont recall any other ban on an automatic firearm he could be referring to, sale, possession or otherwise.

exactly, and the ar15 used in this school shooting was registered too, with all the legal permits, could have been fully automatic or not =just more kids dead with each trigger pull. point is the ban did nothing then, and wont do anything now if it even happens.

There won't be any AR15 ban. Banning the AR15 does nothing. If there were an AR-15 ban you could still purchase these and many more:
