Super lemon haze in contrast to the Afgooey is like night and day. Very light lemony scent; not skunky and has no smell at all from 4 ft away. I think this plant will likely be the best yielder I've ever taken from a soil grow. 13 weeks total in the bloom room and there was almost zero trims; just a few popcorn buds down low. Barely enough for the hash run I planned on but at least my purple trainwreck plant is finishing up; she'll be hanging as soon as the SLH is dry. Never thought it would go to 14 weeks...this pheno is ripening very slowly. I've run PTW many times but this is from a new seed; usually they are done by 11 weeks.

Yep sure do...it's fall here in New England; best time to go hiking, apple picking and driving around checking out the gorgeous colors in the mountains .Nothing better than tasty hash to make the journey even more interesting. Thank the lord for this wonderful plant we can make such powerful medicine from. Jah be praised

With success can also come failures. I have 2 plants in their final weeks that basically look like shit. One I know was from forgetting to water it...the fans have all shriveled up and died. Bud is still ripening at the end of week 9. Another, a Blueberry headband plant, I think was from giving much nitrogen too late in flowering; it looks just like a classic nute burn. There was some leftover seabird guano tea that maybe should've been diluted that I dumped on her thinking she needed it as the fans were getting pale near the end of week 7. Plants in veg and in earlier stages were fine with the tea but this plant just hated it; or should I say the fungus did.
I've been giving them straight RO water in an attempt to help them but I think the damage has been done. On the bright side I will still harvest some decent size bud off these 2 plants but I'm wondering how potency could be affected. Took no pics cuz they so ugly...any advice?

Well if they're anything like my nl5xhaze clones, potency won't be a problem :bigjoint:

It was my second real indoor grow, pots too small, soil not optimal, trying to feed by practically just mulching. haha
Well, the girls practically self-defoliated themselves, were just tall stalks of buds in the end lol
The other day I got a bud of those and out of habit dosed my joint as I do with my pineapple express (nice n strong bud too). Well, let's just say I really had trouble getting the stuff done I had planned haha - fucking strong stuff, though they looked pathetic during the grow ;)
So based on that, I'd say don't worry, just let them ride it out, and all will be well :D

The worst of the bunch is now chopped but I did get some decent buds off her; gonna be another bigass hash run. Ended up with maybe 2-3oz of decent nuggets; left all the dead shit for composting which was basically the whole bottom half of the plant. I realized I marked it on the calendar wrong switching it with another plant in queue thinking it was gonna be done later than it was....silly me; traced the mistake back to last month where I also found out I forgot to record one plant altogether. I gotta get organized lol...in other news bbhb is recovering too it's gonna be fine I think.

Haha give me your problems :bigjoint:
That's never going to happen in my closet, which - plant willing (and I have one at the mo who wills haha) - is full up with one. Waaah no one ever gets lost in my garden

Doing aanother bigass hash run tonight; my peeps just can't get enough of that full melt so guess I'll run the god bud tonight. In other news the Buddha Tahoe og plant I forgot to write in my calendar has finished at 11 weeks I think; low percentage of amber trichs so she's reaching peak now. I let this plant veg way too long and it's super lanky; had to tie her all kinds of ways to keep the heavy buds from falling all over the place. It'll be nice to get a break from trimming; been doing a plant a week for the last couple weeks. Gonna space them out more from here on out.

Next the young plants once well rooted go into the veg tent which is 36"x36" under a 400w mhView attachment 3681010
Here they go from a 3g to a 7 or 10g container and are trained out to a bush. Sometimes I will put the smaller plants back into my veg cabinet to make room as I can only fit 4 plants in 10g or 7g pots in here. I set the timer to 18/6 and reduce to 17/7 in the last 2 weeks before they go into the bloom room which helps fatten them up a bit.
I like to lollipop at this time and take cuttings for the cloner. I run all fem seeds so I can take cuts blindly but I do get hermies on occasion because of this. I give every plant at least one jobes organic spike 2weeks before going in to bloom.
Question there are many diff types of Jones organic spikes which one is best I've found some for tree, vegatable, flowers all kinda stuff exactly which one do u use

The ones I'm using are for vegetables but they all contain much the same stuff: mostly blood and bone meal with a proprietary bonding agent. I bet the flower formula would be just fine too but maybe not the tree/shrub spikes. They are so easy to use and cheap; dunno why more peeps don't use them. The idea is to put them in before the roots grow around them so the plant can access the goodies as they see fit once they are big enough. You can also make your own spikes by just digging out a small cubby hole and dumping in straight amemdments. The Rev's book I reference through this thread has all the recipes..

Just finished trimming the Buddha Tahoe OG plant & again no pics because it was among the ugliest plants I've ever grown. This was the last plant that was in a DIY rolling scrog unit. I overvegged this plant under a cheapass LED rip-off. Advertised on eBay as a 200w COB; turned out to be 4x 50w cobs that would be good for growing basil or maybe lettuce but not mj. Ended up with long stringy colas that produced very little smokable buds. Should have topped and revegged under a 400w but a perpetual grow doesn't have time for mistakes it keeps rolling on and making more space for more plants. Maybe got a 1/2oz of decent nuggets drying & the rest was all larf and popcorn; looks like about another zip or 2. Very pretty and greasy buds too just small size and spaced to far between....
So I will chalk this up as experience and next time I will try using rabbit fence or tomato cages to train out my plants from the side vertically as opposed to a flat scrog. The rolling scrog carts do not work like I expected; harvested other plants that were propped up with a stick that yielded more than what I got from these. I do like that they are on wheels but the scrog net is too limited; waste lots of vertical space I could be growing more buds in. It's is difficult to keep the canopy an even size when I put another in the bloom room every couple weeks.

Forgot to include some bud porn; here are the last 2 plants harvested. One plant goes in the bloom room when one comes out about every 14 days like clockwork, bitches. I try to cure for 60 days but it never lasts that long. One day I'm gonna fill up the flower room & harvest it all the same time which probly would yield a pound+

Really nice bro, if you fim and top that blue dream you will get a massive amount of love. She can take it and you can up the amendments to around 1700 ppms. Well at least I have. Some don't like high ppms blue dream has taken a beaten from me. And I was rewarded with some real fire.

Kinda miss the BD but I've already got too many plants as it is. I do still have a few humbolt beans left though; she will be back in my garden again once I clear out my overcrowded veg tent.
I'm no longer using my veg cabinets because 16 cfls are not as efficient as a single t5 so now I run in a tent and my old rattling veg cabs are now silent. Power bill went down like $50 from this move so that's good.
Got some new strains in the pipe:
Chronic x Northern Lights
Strawberry Sour Deisel
Rare Dankness #9

Ran the SSD for years but then ran outta clones & seeds; had to order more beans. Was a staple in my garden when I used to use nutes but haven't had this strain for about 3 years+.
The SSD tastes/smells as you expect it to... like strawberries dipped in fuel; it is quite potent too. I used to actually salivate in my bong before lighting the first hit after a long day. It is to date my favorite all around erryday strain but it's not the best yielder without a long veg. The buds grow dense but typically no larger than a ping pong ball at the top colas. You've got to top a couple times and train out the branches of you want decent size nuggets.

No it was a freebie from herbies; still a youngling at this point. Just topped her the first time & she's still in a solo cup. Yours will finish first so i expect a full smoke report lol
