whats this? It began with some lower medium leaves yellowing then browning and now dying. Im confused as the other plants I have in there are smaller yet older and doing ok but this widow was a monster clone

Growing in Hydrogarden, rockwool in clay pebbles in 6" square pots, using full strength general hydro FloraNova veg nutes, distilled H2o, ph on point, 400watt MH 18hr a day

Nitogean def nothing to realy panic about though just flush the plant with water ph it at around 5.5/6.0.I always cut the realy bad yellow leaves back to where there a nice green coulour. Some of the lower leaves die off it's time to worry if the new growth starts to yellow..........................................tyke..........................................................................................

Thanks for the input guys, the leaf has progressed from what's pictured to a brown crusty mess. PH is in the hi 5 lo 6 range.

i had to add cal mag to the flora nova in my ebb an flow. I think mine were too old though they started to get really grainy feeling after the bottle had been opened. I switched to fox farm

Grainy as in the nutes liquid sounded like maracas? I get a workout shaking the nute bottles before mixing for that exact reason.

If this is a hydro grow then going above a pH of 6.0 is a problem and can be locking out your nutes. You really don't want to go above 5.8, and yes, that .2 difference does matter. :-) I keep my girls between 5.3 and 5.6. That's where they seem to thrive...And NEVER above 5.8. Just a suggestion.

are you sure you're getting a good amount of oxygen to the roots? Also, do you keep the oxygen on when the lights go out? It should stay on 24/7. I only ask this because I don't really see any bubble action in either picture.

Did you make any changes? What's your pH level at now? I hope below 6. I'd say shoot for around 5.5 and see if that helps. Are you on the same nutrient schedule?

That's another good question. You said you use full strength nutes. How often are you changing them out? It is best to give your plants a fresh batch of nutes, and then add water for the next 2 weeks, and then give them a new fresh batch again, instead of adding nutes every other day or two, or even three. Which are you doing? Trying to help the best I can. I had this same problem when I first started growing...But was able to get it under control and the plants turned out beautiful.

that bucket is just where im feeding from and my fan goes on 15 mins before lights and 15 on 15 off dark period so I think they're ok with oxygen but Im no expert.

I switched to RO cause its cheaper and my last grow was with RO. I remember it was fairly ph stabled. 1 gallon water/1teaspoon nutes and I let them sit in there bout 10 mins when needed
