This batch of beans is one I'm pretty excited for the possibilities...
Blackberry moonshine bx1 @mischifmike selected pheno x purple dalat Vietnamese @snowhighseeds.
Talk about extreme possibilities...these seeds were produced straight Hawaii jungle...no greenhouse cover...straight promix so as to drain away the insane rain. The bms bx1 did good in our tropical climate which says something as well.
Now...to debate on a name! Dalat moonshine, or Vietnamese moonshine seem the obvious choices....

Here we have the shillong / Meghalaya state of india regional domestic heirloom line. They are beeing both stress tested and an open pollination. They were planted in straight hawaii native soil and a mulch layer, no sprays, food, or outside watering. for the last month we have had maybe 5 hours total of sun, and an obscene about of rain. 90+ rh all month. a true hawaii stress test on this tropical line. so far so good!

hmm apparently many of the photos were to big...but quick update on the shillong landrace preservation.

we had 86 flowering down in the bottom of my jungle property, we have chopped 3 herms, bringing it down to 83. Everything is in early flower, and most are still stretching. the males are starting to really set up, females a bit slower so far.

Finally got the greenhouse moved over to the new pad. Got the pad all propane torched to help suppress any jungle weeds, and will be putting down a heavy vinegar as well, as even with the double layer of wee block and 3 inches of gravel, weeds wanna come thru. jungle life lol.

Got the new wood bracing installed, as well as the wiggle wire track, and then the plastic on. We have been having some heavy rain lately, so rather then bring plants over that are wanting to have spots of septoria, Im starting this greenhouse from seed.

First few trays are filled, and popped with my gelato hashplant line, congolese ticket, and mac dragon feminized f2s. I also have a few more bags of beans popping, forum stash, modified macberry, and garlic stash from my work, and then I also popped some of staefli farms mac flubber, and twotonegenetics uk cheese x black widow
