With organic soil you don't want runoff washing out the limited nutrients. With bottle fed you want runoff to prevent salt buildups. catch 22
What do you do if you are not very bright like myself and are feeding organic soil with microbes and microbe foods as well as mineral nutes lol

first make sure pH is ideal at the roots (doesnt matter what your dumping in, need a soil pH meter period). only respond to plant requests for something. balancing act. try and only add what is needed, not a full spectrum nutrient! Like dont add N if only ca or K is needed, hard to do.... becomes a game of major guessing, especially in flower when you dont get new nodes to see if plants are responding to the treatment.

honestly organic to bottle is the worst thing to do because you are always gonna exhaust the organics in flower when diagnosis and response is not only critical but nearly impossible to read due to the lack of new healthy nodes, only roasted old growth that will not improve and lack of yields that is hard to quantify in real time. In veg I see a problem, I fix it, next node is good, new growth, fix worked. Later flower thats not an option and all you are doing is guessing and yields are suffering, old growth that was damaged gets worse depsite a proper feed, often adding too much of something not required... terrible bad place to be, and I would never be there because I avoid organic at all costs. I wanna be in control the whole cycle.

Damn straight and I'm headed back that way ASAP! ProMix and Mega Crop. Lots of AN left so time to do some side-by-side growing but I'm liking that MC. Everything a plant needs in one spot. One grow so far on it and I'm liking it fine.

compromise, guessing games... relying on organic nutrient supply in late flower.... gay ass guessing game that only with luck and many years of practice turn out well (ish) -> don't know what you don't know!!!!.... by not doing bottle fed many organic growers won't know what they are missing in pure nutrient availability!

Better things are there. proper bottle feed WITHOUT organics messing with shit will repeatedly do the job. Predicatability. Comes with running a strain...

Look, we can all run random strains (VARIABLE!) with random grows (nutes soil whatnot)

But really proper chemical feed will do great with ALL strains....

Organics is for those that don't require a harvest for sale repeatedly at high levels.

Low feed bottle is just as bad. Way too many are afraid of over feeding and seeing a little tip burn.... WHAT are you over feeding? It's not everything......

It's complicated.......

'

BUT

SO FUCKING SIMPLE!

Bottle feed ONLY. I have foudn feeds that work WELL for all strains.,.. Beyond that you have to tune... Cant do that in fducking ???? dirt.... gay ass shit to be guessing when your living is on the line..........

THAT is ALL is have to say.

Honesyly I have shared this repeatedly. This WILL be the last time.

Tired of wasting my time,,,

FEED YOUR PLANTS! KNOWINGLY! What did you put in? If they didnt take it, pH!

I give up, this is my last thread here,

did you read what I said? no
Hey man you totally misunderstood me. You are the last person I would ever question on here or would want to piss off. I know you know your shit and say it all the time to the other nubes. I really appreciate that I can ask you for advice and know that I can trust it. I was just giving you shit about the tree hugger comment, since that's far from me, and I know you had a good night last night, haha.

You are totally correct though about organics being way more challenging. Again man I want you on my side and still have that Green Crack we talked about that I will give you a clone from anytime you want one. I could also hook you up with a Chem 91 or Sunset Sherbert clone if you're interested (free of course, and all clone only versions). I hope we're still cool man.

Yeh Fro bro. I pay attention to your stuff 'cause you know your stuff.

I've never had much luck with dirt farming and am swinging back to DWC and soilless with decent salts for their dinners. I don't grow for profit but need to crank out some bud and stock up in case we move in a year or so as I hope to.

Just ignore the trolls. They feed on angry responses.

The way I see it I'm the newest grower around, I appreciate any helpful feedback I can get. The reason I chose to grow organically is because it's natural and from what I've read you get the best flavor and smell growing organically. Also where I am the market is over saturated with quantity. So I figured I could sacrifice a little quantity for quality.

This is good info though a little unorganized. There is no way you’re growing to max potential on your first run of a strain, no chance. It’s taken me 3 runs and I finally maximized my one pheno.

I been saying this for all this time and I give UP! To each their own, prove me wrong.

I AM OUT. YOU WONT SEE ME HERE AGAIN

THATS HOW STUPID THIS IS!

It's all there , search, ignore bullshit (90%).,...

I AM OUT
Please don't leave @Renfro. We all need your advice. And I hear you that there is a lot of bullshit on here. Mostly by dumbass nubes thinking they know how to grow and wanting to give advice they shouldn't. I have mad respect for you man.

hows that chem91 look
Not bad, but it's more demanding than some other strains and I'm still learning organics, dry amendments, and the whole no-till thing. But I plan to try to keep this strain going as long as I can, so hopefully I will learn how to keep it happy over time. Here's a pic of it and round 5 of my clone only Green Crack in my veg tent.

looks nice the chem is growing like my gelat.og and I got a mint chocolate chip im hoping shes a female but Im 75% sure I have two males from her and I think I might be doing a cross between the gelat.og x mintchocchip f2 (mystery cookies x Green Ribbon BX) that sounds amazing

Ya, the Chem 91 definitely grows like an OG. I noticed that pretty quick when I picked up these clones. I just gotta keep the strain alive if I can. I know it will be a winner if I can just do my part, but I am a rookie still.

Hello All,
Thanks for your time. I have a couple questions I cant figure out. I'm growing in soil, a mixture of about 60% bushdoctor coco loco and 40% ffof. I've been feeding plants nutes through AACT's; the last tea was...

2gal RO
25 liquid seaweed
25 ml liquid fish
.5 tsp humic acid
8 tsp seabird guano
1.5c wormcastings
1tsp Recharge
4-5 tbs Mollases, Came out to about 8.3-10.2-7

other than that I just give them RO water ph 6.1 and liquid seaweed, I also put in some recharge every other water.Something is telling me I'm doing this all wrong. But IMO my plants seem to be doing ok. I am also unsure on when flipping to flower how to get bloom nutrients to the plant when it needs it if they need time to break down organically??

4x4
C02 900-1100ppm
315w cmh 6500k
Day Temp 80-85
Night temp 71-74
Rh 68-76

Large plant is cherry kush (day 40 veg), smaller plants are 501st OG (day 33 veg).
im with Water Dog utube research ,utube research, trial n eeror that's how we all learn, but im also thankful for this forum
