No strain in the world can create rock Hard
Maybe you over exaggerating with the 'rock hard' part.. It's not possible that the bud will be so hard even if it's the most dense dank strain there is.. If it hasn't been squashed there is still somewhat of a squishy Ness

Ya totally agree, them gorilla buds are really hard...for smaller buds they sure do weigh up.

starting to foxtail? lol gg4 foxtails like a mofo, its the nature of the beast. harvested at the first sign of any amber trichomes (9 wks). its up in the tops are far as density that ive grown but not as dense or "rock hard" as PGR buds.

I don’t squeeze , smash or do unnecessary shit. Pics don’t make the buds better or fire.
Genetics play more into it. I’ve had different buds depending on grow .
Small nugs , big colas , spear shaped , chunk , even fox tailed. Meant nothing.
Especially if it’s for your consumption..... why trim picture perfect if you are gonna be the one blazing it ? If you squeeze or compress , you destroy triches.
Had “ hard “ nugs but really don’t give it much thought ..... other than deeper terp smells when you crack that bitch open.

OP you’re looking at vacum sealed nugs I struggled with that too when I first started. The bugs are squashed you can grownsuper dense rock hard nugs but they won’t look like that unless u a vacum seal them

Agree 100%. That’s one thing I wish I learned earlier. Don’t waste too much time trimming cause it’s still gonna be just as good.

Those buds aren't dense from vacuum seal, anyone who says that's what makes them dense has never grown hard bud.
I've never been in a dispensary that stores their bud in vacuum sealed bags, and if they did it wouldn't be to increase density.
Vacuum sealing is for long term storage, or transportation.
It adds density, but it also makes the buds look flat/squished...

You can get that look by curing lots of bud close compact in jar (not compressed or squashed)
Those buds are just packet closely in a jar.. Are you sure they are rock hard.. Cause rock hard is not good.. Is it very crispy too? Yum.. Lol jokes aside I know density and its never that hard.. I've broken cheap scissors on bud before bud it's wasn't like a stone.. Just very dense and sticky

Curing in a jar is not like being squished flat by a vacuum sealer
