Dense OG Kush ?

Got a bit of a problem here and im hoping yall can help me out. Well on a suggestion from a friend I chose to grow OG Kush outside this year instead of maui or snowcap or urk like usual. The plants got plenty big and bushy and plenty of colas are growing, but they refuse to dense up. Seriously every plant has 30 good sized colas (some like 18 inches and big around as footballs) but they are airy as fuck. Is this just the way this particular strain grows? Normally my Maui plants would have 3 and 4 ounce fatties all over the place. This shit looks really bomb its crazy crystally (is that a word?) and I would say its just about done, but my buddy says its a late runner and I probably wont harvest till Halloween. Is there anything I can give it in these last couple weeks before harvest to help chunk the nugs up? Thanks in advance for any help, I appreciate it.

PK canna 13/14 is good but you need to do it now so you have time to flush before harvest. makes the yeild heavier and fatter

I agree with Plant Girl. Feed them well. Learned from FDD that the longer the plant is budding, the more dense the buds. My Master Kush is the same now, covered with crystals, milky. I'm cutting when they are amber, probably this week end. Good luck.

i am struggling to picture a plant with 30 big colas! can you post some pics please

I don't have a digital camera but i'll take one with my cell and put it on here when I get a chance. The particular four or five plants i'm talking about were mothers for clones that were raped and cut and slashed to make clones. So in effect they were topped like 20 times, thus making for hella bud sites. There are at least 30 colas coming straight up, about 5 of which are like forearm length/width and the rest are like a bottle of pepsi. Bud these things are airy, i'm talking like maybe less than a quarter pound on each plant - whereas with my Maui or Urk or Snowcap plants of this size would yield close to two pounds a piece or more.

that would be true with OG. i purchased 2 clones and i thought they would have gotten bigg. i flushed mine out and added a few thing in the last 2 weeks and they got realy fat..145 gram buds..OG is a late blooming plant...but is hella worht it...

So you think it would be good to flush and then start pumping it up again for a couple weeks? How does flushing it help the buds beef up? I'm pretty sure I got three weeks more to work with. Hopefully its just how that particular strain grows and maybe it just chunks up toward the end since OG is such a late finishing plant...

i thought that topped plants grew thinner stems but lots of them and less bud per stem...you live and learn

just flush with water during your feedings now...and no nutes...you dont want to smoke nutes...i got my own lil tricks to beef them up..my good girl is on my avatar
