LOL! Ease up cowboy!
Guess before I school you in the contest I need to school you on what trash talking is.
I know who you are sensitive one. I know your skill level and look forward to playing against you.

You got me. In my defense I had just woke up in great pain from my shoulder surgery.

I’m not as sensitive as I just came off. But I probably need a 5 gallon pot and a full line of power nutes to beat your party cup grow. :-)

I woke up irritable. Wake and baking my pain away now.

He got me! Lol
LOL! I wasn't going to type it but I thought maybe your shoulder or pain meds had you in a bad mood and wanted to avoid messing with you lol. I originally typed I know who you are sensitive one and edited it to just I know who you are. Remember we chatted in the contest thread and I said , hope your shoulder is healing well.

I remember. That’s why it got me so good. I was like I thought this dude liked me. Lol

The contest takes a lot of attention but is a great learning experience.
Here are todays pics. 3 1/2 weeks flowering 8 weeks to go.
I think I'm at maybe 7 or 8 grams IDK. 20 is supposed to be good.
Been battling Mg def so far and have been going mostly water only for a while, some Epsom and cal/mag, Had N tox that is running it's course. No leaf loss yet. Gotta say, I love N tox!
Any guesses on dry weight or what the potential is for this plant? Bout a Pound!
I was originally hoping for 12+ and think I'm headed toward a possible 20. Never did this before so IDK.

Looks like a nice fat eighth there. ;-)

That sounds good, so more like 4 grams then. 20 is gonna be hard to do. Time will tell lol.

We round up bag weight for everyone we like. Lol.

I showed the 3/4 gallon pot with almost 1.5oz of fat bud.

128 oz to a gallon. 96 to 3/4 gallon.

42 grams to 1.5oz so you have to do 31.5 grams.

I rounded my yield up a bit for easy math so let’s call your goal an even oz.

Your almost there! :-)

I will have to do a cup grow now anyway. I really want to see how it goes. But I want 4 drain holes at least. Lol.

The record is 40 grams I'm told and was in soil but I don't know what the light schedule was. I guess I'll be happy with every gram over 12. Right now I'm more interested to see how far I can make it without loosing a leaf. My light is 23 inches away. Air cooled 600w and another supplemental 400w MH growing seedlings. Thinking about changing it to a second 600w hps soon IDK. I could probably bring the light closer and may do that but for now I'm just trying to grow happy plants. I still have all 5 flowering in cups to study them. Future grows I might be more aggressive with the light.

Drain holes are important. I never liked the rule in the other comp regarding one drain hole. I have 8 I think. 4 should be a minimum.

Can't join in. No trash talking, just some discussion.
It's not for everyone. Just want people to know about it if they want to play. Might be able to get over 50 people in this next one. They are going to be starting a contest growing Auto's in possibly one gallon pots for anyone interested. Details are still being worked out.
whitebb2727 will be working on the details here:

Hi Brother!
Hope you play in the next comp, should be fun.
If you do will you grow soil or hydro?

So what do you think in general of weight. You have a better eye than I do. I think #5 is going to surpass #2.
I thought in post #65 above I was at 7 or 8 grams and agree it was more like a generous 4 grams.
Maybe now I'm at 7 or a generous 8 IDK.
Flowering for 7 weeks, they are in the early stage of fattening with harvest likely in 4 or 5 weeks.
In order 1 - 5. My entry # 2 is the second picture with the lighter.

If you add amino's and bloom microbes you might be able to utilize all the nutes you are throwing at it.
Unless you are talking about the dark color because all 5 suffered from N tox earlier, the leaves on plant #2 are suffering from a unique Clorox and fish foliar incident not from fertilizers added to the soil.

Here are the posts where it all started #1226, #1240. It was a big mistake and also a great lesson.

I was hoping to get your thoughts on the Clorox incident at some point @MichiganMedGrower. I feel there are times an incident like mine with the Clorox happens to someone and it is likely misdiagnosed as something else in the plant problem section. The leaves affected by the Clorox have a very unique look compared to other leaf problems I'm used to seeing even right now as they have aged.

Wont help N, just P and cal/mag uptake

That's a great looking plant! Very healthy, nice work! :weed:
Thank you! Its my third grow... Always learning. No, im not using any teas. I like NPK industries stuff.. I use distilled water, and on every watering i use amino's, Cal/Mag, bloom microbes, fulvic acid / kelp 6:2 ratio, and yucca. Obviously using more P during early bloom and then start feeding it some Adv Nutrients overdrive towards the last few weeks of flower. I also will supplement with ADv Nutes "Big Bud". I just try to keep a close eye for any deficiencies prior to every watering. I have found that once you start to get a deficiency like cal/mag or P and you dont take care of it quickly, your screwed. I also will foliar spray when deficiencies are found. Biggest lesson i learned from my first grow was topping/ FIM'ing super important with BlueDream since they like to grow way too tall. Getting all buds even without scrogging can be done with pruning techniques.
