So the 730s are just for a shorter calm down to sleep light and sounds like something I may try, what do you think of adding something like 4 blue 430s in my 600hps hoods or Mabey 6 430s and 3 of the 730s and have the 430s run the full 12 hours.

When I say on my hoods I have a 4x3 rapter hood and it has tons of room inside them to mount more lights and it looks like you could mount those cobs just about anyway you want.

I do want to build these lights and could use some help, I think I have a power source on hand and not sure what else I would need to build a 6 build 430 range light. My power source is a 200 watt computer power source. Can you help me with a parts list?
Here you go bro

IMHO not worth it. More bud sites for what? So you can lollipop all them little fuckers off around week 3? lol

Didn't hear a price but that is exactly what I had envisioned for my other 2 reg reflectors, but with blue bulbs to mix the spectrum up. As for the raptor hood I was thinking a little larger scale....

Thanks bro good vid

I Don't Think Its A Good Idea To Mount Led's Inside Of The Hood. Your 600 Produces A Lot Of Heat And Heat Is Led Killer. This Is Why I Suggested The Aluminum Bar And Attach It With Self Tapping Screw's To The Side Of Your Hood

2nd My 730's Are 3 Watt Single Diode Led's And Not Cobs

As Far As Using A Computers Power Supply. To Be Honest I'm Still Learning My Damn Self And I Wouldn't Know Where To Begin.

Now Adding 3 Watt Blues To An HPS Is An Interesting Idea. I Don't Know What Effect It Would Have But It Is An Interesting Idea :peace:
How long are you running yours?
5 Minutes Before Lights Out And 5 Minutes After Lights Out For A Total Of 10 Minutes :weed:

Here's My Ladies 24 Hours After Adding My 730's I Swear They Look Well Rested And Perkier. I Spreaded The Little One On The Right And I Collared Her With A Set Of Dawg Balls. When I Do My 1st Res Change In 5 Days I Will Lift Her Up To Even Out The Canopy. :hump:

I used to res change weeklu, but have found this run to just keep adding nute water pre mixed is so much easier. I haven't had a single issue. I think its cause I keep my water at 67*F this time though. Anyways, it's awesome not changing res every week. They drink like 10 gallons every 3 days so I juSt keep adding it back

Brother Other Threads I Have Read That Have Used The 730's Reported A Lot More Stretch When Left On Longer Than 10 Minutes After Lights Out. You Experiencing This? :peace:
I also use Deep Red and IR during the day, they are some stretch, but I like that. The 730nm seem to do great. I also use Royal Blue in veg and I get short stout plants with tight development. between the tight growth from ther Royal Blue the stretch is desired. two weeks and they double in length and size. I tried longer and shorter and I find that 20 minutes seem to work well for me. peace

Yea Well I Just Came Home And My Fucken Timer Screwed Up And Left My 730's On For About 14 hours Before I Spotted Them On. Yea I'm Not Trying To Stretch Mine Out Rather I'm Seeing If The 730's Cut Any Time Off Flowering With The 5000k Spectrum :weed:

I Find my 5000k Doesn't Need Any Added Blue. But To Each Is Their Own Style And That's The Great Thing About Leds Is The Endless Possibilities That We Can Experiment With :weed:

Is the 730nm only beneficial in support of other wavelengths, ala Emerson effect? In the absence of of another light source of 400-660nm there shouldn't be an impact on your plants. Someone probably has already found a use for night vision goggles to tend plants during off period.
