I had the Dublin teams meeting and it was horrific as expected. The ladies were totally uncool, unenthusiastic, disrespectful and stressed out. Fast talking Crystal had some Inappropriate giggles and the other lady was constantly wiping sweat from her forehead and seemed out of breath and overwhelmed . First question asked was basically. Why in hell do you want to live to California. When I gave an enthusiastic answer they had nothing positive to say . I asked what the vibe of the clinic was and got a laugh like you don’t want to know but I will proceed to lie to you.

Not to worry!
Just as
Soon as I exited the Dublin interview San Jose sent me the requested walk thru clinic video and I am quite impressed. He started outside in the covered assigned parking and walked thru taping a tour of the clinic . I could THRIVe there. I def see myself fitting in there and making that place sizzle. Lol

it wouldn’t let me upload a picture I did earlier today either, but the pdf link if you download it then open it from there it works on my phone at least, but I also have it saved locally on my phone, so idk.

I asked Az what the hell? Do you want me or not? It’s been a FUC n week. He got back saying he was waiting for the reference from Tucson. Thankfully they said I would be a great fit so an offer is getting submitted. I’m taking it. Cali is just too expensive, dangerous and depressing. Even though that San Jose job looks to appealing. It’s probably got a dark cloud. With all the techs out there you think they would jump on it but no, that screams caution caution to me. Bullshit promises and then fkd up the ass. Too good to be true. I don’t really want to work alone like that anymore anyway. Too much pressure and stress.

. . . . . . . . . I opened a discussion with my partner about moving to another town , him quitting his current job that he hates and save and to stash away as much cash as possible the next 3 months. And during the next 3 months I will be planning a long backpacking journey through Europe for Sept thru November or longer.
Hey, long time no talk. My friend Night Crawler hikes every summer. He works lots of extra hours during winter so he can spend half the year on trail. He makes You Tube videos and his people keep him afloat during hiking season. If you don't mind losing some privacy, a hiking channel on YT will bring in some funds. Folks are even doing merch now. There are at least two new channels (I Suck at Hiking and Wild Flower Adventures) that have t-shirts, hats, stickers and such. With your artwork, I'm sure you would have a leg up there. There is a south Florida hiker named Jupiter who draws and paints. Sometimes even on the trail. He sells his small sketches for 25 or 30 bucks.

I don't know much about hiking in Europe, but a lady and her son who are doing the AT this summer have done the Camino and vlogged it. Their channel is World Towning. https://www.youtube.com/@WorldTowning/featured They have lived outside the US for the last 10 years without working normal jobs, so maybe something there you can glean that will help you.

Hey injinji, great to see ya! Thanks for stopping by with words of encouragement and some fantastic ideas and suggestions. Thanks will def look into it.
Well, well, I was offered that gig in San Jose and the salary is substantial. :pLike over 40,000 of dollars more than I have ever made before. I can’t let past bad experiences steer me
Away from this opportunity. I have nothing to lose . Maybe it’s my time. Maybe the stars have finally lined up and all my hard work and persistence to be recognized for what I am worth have finally come fruition. This looks legit and if it’s not I can always pack up and keep trying . But WOW! This is pretty fkN awesome.

I am mapping out our road trip cross country. The only hotel I have booked is 2 nights in Moab Ut for my vacation . I want to get to Grand Junction Co by Tuesday next week so we can be inside Arches National park early Wednesday morning. We might have to power it out over 500 miles per day, more than I would like.
