Dapio's SCROG round 1!

This strain was "Not good for scrog" or "unscreenable" according to those who challenged the idea that not all plants can be scrogged. While this is true, most are however and even those that may be difficult, can be done with a bit of effort. This is a strain known to hermaphrodite under stress and the point here is that LST is less so than many methods. This plant also tends to be spindly and lanky and not easy to train or screen. I think we made our point...

Hope my time here in your thread is welcomed and helpful. Take care Dapio and good luck with Scrog!

Thanks for the input woodsman! I am glad you have taken time to find my thread and drop some information here. I worked in some LST earlier in the grow to give me multiple branches heading vertical at one time I think it worked out good I just use metal hangers to spread light out equally in the beginning.

I am waiting for that middle area to break through before I switch to Flower and finish off with the stretch I think everything should work out based on what I am seeing in the development of growth in veg.

Your thread is honestly the reason why I began to start scrogging any input you wish to give me is greatly appreciated I hope you stop by more often and thank you for the large amount of pictures to reference from I love analyzing other peoples experiences through photos especially those that are relevant to my current situation in life.

Here they are at day 44 of Veg! getting antsy cant wait for the flip like I said as soon as those branches make there way up to the screen I think I will be in business.

Lookin good dapio.

I've been LSTing the shit outa my ladies. Im doin a lil LST experiment by training each plant into different shape to see what works out best for me or if it will even make a difference. So one them im shaping into a spiral, one is just regular L shape, other ones is like a S shape and the last one is like a spiderweb (each branch tied down in differentt direction)

lol I got my zip ties for the stubborn branches I think this strain does well scrogging for the most parts however some parts of the screen are harder to fill then others that's why I have my zip ties just in case I ever need to put a branch in any sort of direction.

Careful usin zip ties. They got sharp edges and theyy will start digging into they stem real quick. Learned the hardway. I've been using little pieces of plastic bag to tie to the stem real loosly and tied the wire or zip ties to that. Just my 2 cents

Day 54 of Veg just trying to get my right side of the screen filled in a little more and then the plants should be good for flowering.

Lostnug I didn't even think of that the stem would eventually expand and the zip ties would probably start to dig into the stem I am going to carefully cut any that I feel I have made to tight and just try to deal with them a little looser then I had them before thank you for the insight!

Other then that the plants are still looking very happy I had the slightest bit of nutrient burn from my last feeding approximately 1100 ppm at the most probably should have stayed around 900 also using tap water I kick on about 200 PPM to begin with just for leeway luckily most of it took effect on old growth new growth is still looking vibrant and I am excited to get my flower on.

Also note although this is my first time scrogging this strain does seem quite stubborn to the scrog method but I am pretty sure I wont have to much of a problem it has been treating me well.

Happy Growing

Had to throw this on here and throw another shout out to lostnug you saved one of my colas from pure obliteration haha I took a picture of the damage the zip tie had done man I hate when I do things and don't give them enough thought.

The zip tie on the left is a lot looser and is just acting as a buffer don't see any negative effects coming from it, the right side of the pic you can see the indention the zip tie had caused... wow! wont be doing that again.

Here they are at Day 3 flowering foliage is still looking healthy no deficiencies that I can see also it seems that the screen is doing very well only a few more squares to be filled which I presume will be handled after the stretch is done.

@loudpac I haven't really used soil in awhile so I couldn't really say I am watering about every 4 days its very low maintenance don't really have a problem keeping up or notice it drying out faster then one would expect.

@xemisions I vegged for 55 days.

Great work man, those plants will double in size from flip, so you're screen should be pretty well filled in. I wouldn't worry about a thing, they look like wonderful buds. Keep the revolution alive brother!

Looking good, you have about another 10 or so days to fill the screen then production moves mainly to BUD.
