No you didn't but I don't want to encourage VG, PG or PEG use so I gave answered here. Hope it was somewhat useful.
Is it possible not to use a thinner if you don’t have the means to do a c02 distillation?
I use bho, winterized. Even trying to use terpene distillate it’s still too thick and just hardens up.

I am not sure what you mean by a CO2 distillation.

The cannabis material itself needs to be distilled, which requires (among other things) a good mechanical-pump vacuum.

Winterized BHO has not been decarbed and has a liability to crystallize, not unlike honey. A true distilled Cannabis oil won't crystallize.

You may want to try decarbing what you have. There will be some "heavies" but in a disposable cart you should be good for the entire charge. Bing! next cart.

I've been using uncut (no terpenes or other solvents) cannabis distillate in the CCELL carts and am amazed and happy with the result. My "pine sap" at last has an effective delivery system to release all that coniferous excellence!
Note that distilling necessarily involves a full decarb.

~edit~ Decarbing (decarboxylation) is efficiently done at 110 degrees C for about 10 minutes. This knocks THCA (which can crystallize) down to THC which does not crystallize. So a decarbed product is much less likely to block your cart ports.

Is creating a distillate a feasible process for the small time homer? Is there exspensive equipment to purchase? I make my own carts. Distillate carts have always been appealing.

Right, I have not seen a way to make distillate that doesn’t cost a lot of money. If you know otherwise I’d love to hear it

Your BHO when decarbed should work and you can thin down with terpenes if you have to, but the distillate I'm using is as thick as pine sap, @cannabineer ?
My own process is stripped down (in terms of hardware) as far as I can imagine. It does yield honest molecular distillate with zero solvents. That stuff is "thicc AF" and the new carts handle it like a BOSS. I am soundly impressed.

The point wasn't your process the point was his BHO will work perfectly well if he simply decarbs it. So his process should work if he decarbs. I don't think he needs to move to a different process, does he?

With the carts I've been trying out, a decarbed direct BHO should work great. I don't think distillation is essential here, especially since it is "winterized".

no loss of terpenes in your process c/n? just going by what i was reading off of the crappy link i posted, not questioning your lab skills...
