how big are your bong hits...
The only reason I don't like bongs and pipes is because you can only do pretty much... With a blunt I can go outside and smoke a nice long burning L and read a book or chill with my plant. or... rob liquor stores... the possibilities are endless.

Vapourizers are well worth the investment... if you get one that is well constructed and burns cannabis well. :joint: Excuse the length of the post, but I thought a run down for anyone thinking of actually buying one might be beneficial.

Stay away from the Vapir brand. They're only for smoking tobacco, and they don't even do that well. They've supposedly constructed a vapourizer just recently that can adequately vapourize marijuana, but I wouldn't take their word for it. They've been marketing their products in High Times and continually misleading smokers to believe it will vape their pot for a long time, and consistently screwing them over. Extremely dishonest company.

The vapourizers you'll want to get are the more expensive ones. Preferably digital, though it's not necessary... though it does allow you to find the optimal vapourizing temperatures. The ones to stick with are:

The Vapezilla. They produce the best vapourizers on the market, period. The "Super Vapezilla" has been consistently voted the best vapourizer produced yet. It has a digital contol, blue LED display (to see when it's vapourized), and it's compact with a good amount of accessories. The regular Vapezilla is very similar, but comes with an analog control, and the LED display is not as perfect. They are constantly improving their products, and have the best customer support. Made specifically for marijuana- they also are ready to vapourize in no time. I think there is even an attatchment where you can plug it into your car lighter, and take it on the road. The heating element is made from polymer ceramic, which is the most efficient material.

The Volcano. The classic, and the first vapourizer to really corner the market and wow people. It's not as good as the Vapezilla, but it's a bit cheaper. They do have good customer service, and they have a lot of accessories, such as the vape balloons. But the fact that so many people are selling their Volcanos on the internet in order to buy the Vapezilla should tell you something. But if you're looking for a party vapourizer that you can fill the balloons with, instead of a lifetime investment, this might be the one for you. I believe the heating element is made from glass.

The last one I would recommend is Vape Brothers. They're about as efficient as the Volcano, but are made from wood instead of metal, and are box shaped. Discrete. There are a lot of Vape Brother clones out there, and they might be okay, but be sure to opt for a medical grade glass whip if you don't buy name brand. PVC is bad. They're generally cheaper than the Volcano, and don't take a lot of time to warm up. I'm not sure what the heating element is made from, but I'd assume glass.

There is also the Phedor hybrid vapourizer, also made by Vapezilla. It's cheaper than all of them, but it's not a true vapourizer. It's a ceramic heating element that you use with your existing pipe/bong/etc. It has an even and high temperature which vapourizers the weed instead of burning it. If you smoke mostly hash, this would probably be well worth the investment.

In short, the Super Vapourizer is the best, and will last you a lifetime. Burns most efficiently, and burns cleaner. You'll have to replace parts far less often than with the other two. However, it is the most expensive. The regular Vapezilla is quite a deal, and is still more efficient and cleaner than the Volcano. The Volcano works well, but it is dated. It does have some extra perks which may make it a viable trade-off for a lot of people. Vape Brothers can be easily compared to the Volcano, and can even be customized, I believe. Vape Brothers has a loyal following, but I've never used nor seen one myself. It is however consistently in the top three. Some people prefer the less "mechanical" appearance of the Vape Brothers, but I personally think it looks a little... strange. Any other vapourizers fall quite short of any of these products. Look for warranties as well.

I hope that helps a bit. I did quite a bit of research and shopping around a while back, and obviously, I found that Vapezilla is just the best company. It all comes down to what you'll use it for, what you prefer as far as appearance, and how much you care about the efficiency at which it will vapourize your bud. I suggest you look at those three, and decide which one floats your boat.

i use silk screen to make my hash. iso is way to harsh for me. ive done the blinder thing too, but its way messy. the silk screen setup i have i got from some DIY site on the net. it uses a slow turning ele motor that holds 2 wood wheels. the screen is stretched between the wheels with a wire support ring. i can put about 1/2 a walmart bag leaves/prefired in it for a few days and its done. all in all its the best way ive found to make decent hash.
