Cutting lower buds

So i have a papaya plant that still has about 2-3 weeks to see, i was wondering would it be worth it to cut all the bottom buds off to increase yield on main colas(topped plant) or would 2-3 weeks not show much of a difference in end?

there have been several recent post about harvesting top buds when done and then letting the bottom go longer to bud up and finish, you might try a search for them?

I would not cut them, but that's me

ya just curious if it would be an option to see if it could give my main buds a slight boost...i dont know if i would even bother with the risk, just wondering if anyone has done this and got/seen positive results

You could have done it back in veg but no real point now.

If you're 2-3 weeks away from harvest then leave it, you won't gain anything.
