great point. these guys should clearly list on their website that you are not supposed to leave this driver in a warming oven while you heat dinner at 90C(194F) for 2.28 years(20,000 hours).

I could not find an explicit 5 year warranty on this model driver, however all of their other drivers (that list a warranty) list 5 year.

But, all kidding aside, warranties are very important. even the "best" can blow out in under a year.

so what happened to that driver to make it look like that lol ?
all the meanwell drivers i just got have a 7 year warranty now,i think they just started doing this though

Could always just order stuff from Mouser. Then you can get that Meanwell HLG240 you've had your eye on. Ain't like you can't use some other heatsinks. Cutter just drills holes for you. Not that complicated really.

so.. what would i need to order from cutter electronics so as to have all the pieces able to build a complete set of 3950 lights, excluding the housing (metal frame).

and where can i get what they don't have?

You just need 18awg wire, a 100k potentiometer, 10k resistor, and that's it I think? @Growmau5

thank you for the response! ok i'm at work but im trying to do a little more research ;)

I cant wait for the back orders but i definitely want everything from cutter electronics.

I Basically have no idea what parts components i need to build one.

If you could buy them premounted on the heatsinks it would be sweet. Looks like the only advantage you're getting is the holes predrilled. I guess to actually assemble them Cutter would have to hire a few Chinese people to work for $2 an hour. I see an opportunity for some enterprising person with spare time though; mounted CXBs for sale, line forms here.
