alot of people like the no water change but i agree with you.
How how can I change my water when 5 days after completely filling it, it's damn near empty? You see, that's why I love having a perfectly balanced setup. It wasn't intentional, I'll admit. But it works so well. I absolutely dread having to drain my setup with the shop vac and hauling out water after harvest. Doing it every single week for 2-3 months? No fuckin way in hell. Lolz

the way the explained it is if u use AN line in CC2 due to high ammount of good bacteria is in Sensi bloom and big bug and sensizyme , u will have a good bacteria bloom and that will lead to troubles
More frequent water changes...problem solved.

I linked you my thread at the beginning of this one. 40-45gallons full.
8 5gal buckets and an 8gal res should only hold like 30g of water with 6” net pots. Even if you’re using 2” net pots to have higher water levels, those buckets would have to be all the way full to hold 40-45g of water wouldn’t it?

Your maths wrong brother.

4gallons X 8= 32 + 6 of 8gal res=38.
Add the water constantly within the return lines and waterfall manifold, another 3-5 gallons. Totalling 41-43gals.

What size net pots you using? With 6” I only had 3.5g and that puts the water 1.5” or so below the net pot

6". Buckets are different heights and widths from different manufacturers. But like I said, that's when it's FULL to the bottom of the netpot. There's usually more like 35in it.

I grow 6 x 5 gal buckets in a 4x4 tent. Using an RDWC set-up, with waterfalls. I use 2" bubble balls under each 6" net pot.
Outside of the tent, I have both a 5 gal control bucket with a 490 gph pump. And a 55 gallon reservoir. The res is connected to a float valve in the control bucket. I use internal Charcoal filters in both the res and the control bucket.
I fill the sytem with half-strength (0-4-8) GH Lucas Formula. I then fill the res with full strength (0-8-16) nutes. As the plants grow bigger they gradually increase the nute strength. I add back full strength to the res. I use filtered (not RO) water. The only time I use PH down is to get them to 5.6 to make sure they get all of their nutrients.
I have never even thought of changing water during a grow. This setup has worked flawlessly for 6 grows. No deficiencies. Every now and then I will get a few leaves with nute-burn on the tips. Never bad enough to change anything.
The speed of growth is outstanding. Three weeks of veg. On day 21, I take cuttings for the next generation. On day 28 I flip to 12/12 with only the veg lights on. I let them go a week that way. And then I turn on the bloom lights. Internodal stretch is minimal. 18 to 24 inch dense colas sticking out of my trellis. I let them flower another 6 weeks and then I taper off the nutes adding only water to the res. I also start tapering off the light cycle. After two weeks they are in total darkness and plain water.

I'd love to see pics of all of that. Sounds cool

So anyone have any experience with AN line in high oxygenated system ?
Hey now Kratosxxl
I`m having Root Rot problems with temps 18C - 20C. Currently looking into the same problem you have. Should I go sterile or benefical bacteria? I have hydrozyme in my res, it helps a bit but still present. I think it makes it worst since the foam dissipated and now there foam on some on the roots. Don`t know if it`s good or bad.. I`m down to Great White,
photosynthesis plus,
or going H2o2 all the way. I wonder how this will work because Like yourself I have the whole AN line up which i spent a lot of money. »Voodoo juice only give me problem Sensizyme doesn`t do anything for me, hence hydrozyme. I`m not going RO, Chiller. If I go sterile would I lose function of like Big bud, Ryno skin, bud factor x, overdrive and all the other good stuff?

I`m really getting discourage and should of gone coco with drip instead. I was going for DWC for the most vigurous growth and yeilds but it`s more of a problem when there is too many options. All I want is a sure shot.
