Curing with tuperware

i searched, couldn't find an answer so ill ask here.

are there any real disadvantages of using tuperware as apposed to glass for curing?

plastic is cheap chemically patroleum crap. glass is stone, who do you trust. is it really that hard to find a jar. go buy a bigass thing of jelly at wal mart or something

i can get a bunch of jars, and i will. i only asked because im planning on a large yield, and tuperware is cheaper than glass.
