Water question

Sounds like the perfect plan. Folks don't understand that the water source (tap or well) is never constant. But what we put in the RO is! We have more control this way knowing exactly what's being administered in the water.
Yeah I honestly have no idea whats in my water. Ive never had it tested. My house is pretty old. From the 60s with pretty much all original plumbing. If I fill a glass of water and hold it in the light it looks like a snow globe of shit moving around in it. It kills most house plants within a month.

Depends on the size of your pots.. my opinion, is that the soils pH is the end all be all of what really matters to the plants overall health. The pH at the root system is set by the plant on its own. Rhyzosphere is where the magic happens. And in a big enough pot the better the action. I'm in 20 g pots and have yet to pH my hard water of 8.1ph . It's in them smaller soil pots is where I believe there's not enough soil to buffer the waters pH. That's my opinion.
That would make sense. I run 5 gallon pots. So I'm guessing there's not enough buffering capacity there. To the point I have to help it out a little bit?

You definitely need to RO your water then. Also, check into Humic Acid. A little goes a long way. I mean just a drop of it in a gallon will help. It's already in compost, so just adding compost to your soil will help tremendously. Just a third of the pots volume before you start any grow. Will help big time.

Could be, I started with 5 g, then went to 10, then to 15, and now 20. Between the 15 and 20, my grows have never been easier. Does limit the amount of flower choices per tent but with some simple know how , the fewer pots can grow out a gang of weed. Bigger roots = Bigger fruits holds true. At least with soil grows. Loyal to the Soil.

I hope you don't drink or cook with that water, if it kills plants.
